Jackman plays the lead in the film – which tells the story behind the creation of Wolverine, one of the most popular characters in the Marvel library.
The synopsis, accoring to the film’s wiki page is as follows:
Set roughly twenty years before X-Men, the film will focus on Wolverine’s violent past, and his early encounters with William Stryker. The Weapon X program and his interactions with other mutants will be explored, including his complex relationship with Sabretooth.
The film stars; Hugh Jackman (Logan/Wolverine), Ryan Reynolds (Wade Wilson/Deadpool), Liev Schreiber (Victor Creed/Sabretooth), Dominic Monaghan (Barnell Bohusk/Beak), Daniel Henney (David North/Agent Zero) and Taylor Kitsch (Remy LeBeau/Gambit).
