Drunk Aunt Karen scooped everyone by announcing that Bruce Jenner quit his marriage when he quit the whorehouse. A week later, Kris Jenner confirmed the split by selling her story to Us Weekly.
Since the whole family including Mason Disick is contracted to appear 2012-2015–three years at $40 million–although Bruce reportedly wants to quit the show, he cannot leave until filming ends next year (season nine will be done filming 2014, and that season will finish airing 2015).
Bruce is reportedly over the famewhoring and he wants to spend more time with his sons. But Kris doesn’t care what he wants and is already planning the publicity stunts through next year including: changing her surname back to Kardashian, making the split a major plot for season nine, splitting up in front of her kids on-camera, and then faking a reconciliation.
Once Kris is done monetizing her separation, Bruce is free to leave.
“Bruce and Kris will file for divorce but not until the current contract for the shows comes to an end,” says a source. “No one would watch if there wasn’t drama, separation leaves it up in the air and will make viewers want to tune in. But once it’s over, it will be over for the marriage too — once and for all.”
“Kris thinks a long drawn out separation will keep viewers coming back for more and the show needs it, at the moment,” adds the source.
