Instead of waiting for a controversy to respond to, or avoiding things that cause scandal like yelling at people on Twitter, LeAnn Rimes is preemptively attacking critics. Critics of what, I’m not sure. Since she hasn’t even been in the news this week. Nor has she been written about outside of covering the idiotic things she’s been doing while she was supposed to be on honeymoon. After last month’s bikini photos shared on Twitter for the sake of shilling for a brand who most likely gave her the swimwear for free, Rimes attacked one of her own fans who dared question the wisdom of tanning one’s bones without bone protection factor 50. She told them her bones were ‘abs.’ And that was that. Only it’s not, as she’s talking about it again. Speaking to People, with whom she seems to have a package deal after they covered her wedding, she and her trainer went on the defensive. Because this always ends well. ‘For someone like me who is healthy, who works hard for my body, it’s very frustrating,’ she says. ‘I work out and take care of myself, and not in an over-obsessive way. People are calling me bulimic or anorexic and these are real issues and diseases that I don’t have.’ Adds her trainer, ‘My main concern with her is that she’s toned and healthy. And she is.’

The CMT awards are today, it’s why LR is talking about her weight issues. She is trying to upstage the CMT awards by any means necessary, which is why she commissioned her mouthpiece to write this fluff piece. She says that she isn’t attending (which could just be another lie) and since her peers are being recognized for their talent, LR is doing everything in her power to draw the attention to her. We all know that LR bright ideas don’t turn out well.

So just keep tweeting weird starvation photos of yourself in a bikini and then getting defensive if someone says you are too thin. Because you are now married so the attention is gone. Your album is never coming out and your fans are wandering off. The one single from it is barely mediocre at best, nobody is listening, nobody cares.
