This is the one where I pretend to care a little more about and understand more than I do about foreign politics that doesn’t even affect me directly since I’m billeted on a little island where my biggest concerns are ‘it’s a bit cold in here’ and ‘it’s slightly windier than usual, call in the army!’ But because I’m aware this is pretty close to ‘Murica Day 2, and EVERYONE else is talking about 1) polling fraud because Mitt fans are so pressed they’re actually getting caught rigging votes 2) Jay Z changing 99 Problems lyrics to ‘…but Mitt ain’t one’ 3) a woman’s waters breaking in line but refusing to leave until she voted 4) the President making a last minute appeal on Reddit.com a few hours ago 5) a bunch of celebrities being photographed at the polling stations and posting their stickers and forms on Twitter, I’m posting anyway. This includes Mariah Carey who appears to have hired a special ‘Murica Day 2 retinue for the sole purpose of carrying her to and from the polling station.
