Last week, I pointed out that Harper Seven Beckham was sucking the very life out of her mother. And what we were seeing wasn’t Victoria Beckham’s weight loss, but her collapse into herself like an impacted star. And, before that, I pointed out the infant had done the same to her father who’d gone grey upon her arrival. Asked why she was so gaunt at a previous event, the 37-year-old mother told reporters she had just been sleep-deprived after the baby’s birth. ‘Look, if people want to say I’m miserable then so be it. I’m really not. I have a lot on my plate,’ she said. ‘I’m not going to lie about it, I’m tired. I’m really tired but I’m also very happy with my life. I’m basically just like any woman who’s working and has lots of children, it’s tough… I’m not getting much sleep at all. Harper’s not sleeping that great. I’m up with the baby as all [moms] are and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
