The Tron Legacy movie is prolly the only movie that I’m going to drag my crack-addicted ass out of bed to go and watch. That process may require me to be lifted out of my house, with a crane, after the walls are smashed down by the fire department. But, it’ll totally be worth wrecking my house, and becoming more of a social pariah. All so I can see this movie in all its shiny, colour corrected glory.
[The trailer] begins with Alan Bradley (Bruce Boxleitner from the 1982 original) telling Sam Flynn (Garett Hedlund) he received a message from Sam’s father, Kevin (Oscar winner Jeff Bridges). Curious, Sam drives over to the old arcade where he finds a secret room and is transported into the digital world where there are lightcycles, disc battles, and a sexy-looking Olivia Wilde. First time feature director Joseph Kosinski shot with the 3D format in mind and five scenes will expand to fit the IMAX ratio, like in The Dark Knight. [News in Film and Trailer Addicit via ONTD]
Should more teasers be released I shall wipe the drool off my keyboard, pull away from this and yesterday’s Iron Man 2 trailer, and resume posting forthwith.
A second official trailer released, for the upcoming Tron Legacy/ Tron 2 movie.
