Lindsay Lohan has been making great decisions lately. Like firing a real lawyer and hiring a guy it turns out really is Lionel Hutz, because a judge actually declared the guy incompetent and demanded Lohan confirm in person that she’s comfortable going forward with inept counsel. And Hutz (if anyone asks, his government name is Mark Heller) is making great decisions like using every trick he learned watching Law & Order and trying to get rehab off the table for his addict client. A source claims, ‘A plea deal could be reached without Lindsay being forced to go into treatment. Since she wasn’t arrested or charged with crimes related to drugs or alcohol, a plea deal requiring her to go to rehab isn’t the only way a resolution can be reached. There are other possibilities including the options of Lohan undergoing extensive counseling and lengthy community service. Talks between Heller and the City Attorney’s office are ongoing and both sides are hopeful a plea deal can be reached soon that is mutually agreeable.’
