Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland official movie trailer video
The trailer for Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland was released online, yesterday. You may have noticed that everyone and their mother posted the trailer but me. That’s ‘cos everyone but me has the patience for hasty re-edits when Disney does something as retarded as pulling official trailers, ahead of ComicCon.
The Alice in Wonderland trailer was released after IGN uploaded the promo on their site. It took the YouTube elves about one hot minute to re-upload the video there and then about another minute for them to be pulled over by the YouTube popo. Disney went pulling down videos like the trailer was a bootleg or something.
Yes, instead of leaving the trailers alone, which are essentially extended commercials for the movie, Disney made
YouTube take them all down. Make no mistake about it: Disney’s actions are an utterly mindboggling mistake.want to be excited about Alice and instead of embracing that excitement and fueling the fire, Disney cut off the oxygen. This type of behavior can and does affect ticket sales, reviews, and can create unnecessary backlash. (via Mashable)
All outlets, such as Trailer Addict had the trailers pulled. The last video left (for now) is MSNs. Catch it while you can.
Movie stills and each character’s promotional shots are available too.
Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland is coming out in March 2010.
I notced that yesterday, too. it’s like they were scared people were goingot learn anything about the movie. good grief! common sense would tell you to let the trailer out. i wonder what’s going on with those Disney folks these days. maybewe need to dig Walt up and let him strighten thigns back out over there…lol
The Comic-Con event has started, so it seems they don’t give a damn any more. They’ve totally missed the point in haveing a trailer at all. As someone on Mashable put it “they have some balls pulling a trailer to a movie that isn’t even out for a year!”
so is it like the story of Alice told by the Mad Hatter? That’s what it comes off as to me.
Whatever it is it looks like an acid trip on shrooms, mixed with some vodka. In other words: AWESOME!
Welcome to the site and thanks for the comment Sam. I gather it’s a derivate from the books, so I was thinking the same thing. Oddly, I don’t think many people don’t know this story started in books, not the Disney cartoon.
