Details and photos of what happened before the fight, that saw Shawne Merriman arrested for the alleged assault of girlfriend, Tila Tequila, have come to light.
Reality star, Tequila, and her NFL boyfriend, Merriman, were in some kind of nasty altercation in the early hours of Sunday. The incident, said to be a domestic assault where Merriman allegedly choked Tequila, happened around 3:45AM on Sunday night (September 6, 2009).
As per the previous post with the full details of what happened, Merriman, of the San Diego Chargers, was taken into custody by the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department after the alleged incident with Tila Tequila, real name Tila Nguyen.
As an update to the information available at the time of publishing the first post, a lawyer speaking on behalf of Merriman has denied all charges. The official stance from Merriman’s camp is that Tequila was extremely inebriated and that rather than forcibly keeping her in one place against her will as she alleges, Merriman tried to stop her from leaving the home because he didn’t feel it was safe for her to do so. Tequila’s fans will know, however, that she insists she really never drinks alcohol.
TMZ have posted some new photos, showing the pair at approximately 1AM, well over two hours before the alleged assault. The couple were spotted at Stingaree nightclub in San Diego. Tequila was seen giving Merriman lap dances in the photos (bottom row of gallery).
This is one that could go either way. Tequila says she was attacked, so this could be domestic abuse. However, in the interest of being fair, Merriman flatly denies this happened, as initially reported. More on this as it breaks…

Why would that be? If you mean because of this case, perhaps so. But we all know how twisted and bias reporting of cases like this can be. He’ll get away with whatever he is accused of doing.
That super slut is just trying to make a name for herself since she dropped out of the limelight. these pro players should be morecareful about the hussys they go out with. that is the type of girl who makes domestic abuse cases a joke!!!
