First things first. I kinda need to admit that I don’t actually give a damn about Tiger Woods’ hyperactive penis or his propensity for giving unconvincing apologies. I’ve just dragged myself out of the gutter, and of course the Tiger Woods apology press conference from earlier in the day is over, all 13-minutes of it. I knew it was happening, set an alarm and all, and then couldn’t muster enough of a shish to pay any attention to the live event. So if you sense slightly more passive-aggression than usual in this post, it’s cos I’m kinda tired of him. Sadly, in this line of work, I don’t necessarily get to ignore him altogether.
Woods gave a public statement, to the waiting media, sharing that a private apology to wife Elin would come later. Woods’ close friends and his oft-carted out mother were in attendance. His mother got a pity hug for the cameras/ for her troubles. If you can stand the tedium, and if you still care, see the videos of Tiger Woods’ apology speech press conference and the transcript in PFD form.
Woods’ over-due apology below, rubbed in bacon fat and lies. Heavy on the lies.
As well as the videos of Tiger Woods speaking out in prepared statements, made at the press conference, TMZ also provide a transcript of what Woods had to say.

His wife’s apology would come later???
Seems to moi that it should have come first and in large denominations.
I read that somewhere – don’t remember where now. But I’m pretty sure that’s accurate. The apologies are fake anyway, so I don’t know how much I care.
Fake, if not contrived. What gets most people really mad, i think, is that it seems to underestimate the intelligence of people. It’s pretty insulting. It’s not like it does everyone he’s hurt any real good. Anyway, an apology’s an apology so that’s probably not too bad. Tiger Woods must learn something from golf. When you hit something, make sure it gets into the hole right. Or if it doesn’t, make sure nobody notices.
Tiger has proven he’s no Bobby Jones or Jack Nicklaus — at best he’s golf’s Pete Rose. Don’t care? Then you also don’t care that golf is a game of character separate from the drugs-sex-violence-cheating sordid behavior or “celebetes” in other big-money pro sports.
