Tiger Woods and wife (for now) Elin Nordegren have done the honourable thing and said sorry to the parents at their two-year-old daughter’s school. This is a great move for them to make, as undoubtedly Woods’ wandering peen has far-reaching consequences beyond just giving a bunch of B-list porn stars some free publicity. And I’m all for cutting a skank a break, after all these are hard times. However, these parents have enough empathy for the others sharing a space with their daughter; she and mother Nordegren are still being pretty aggressively pursued by paps and the other kids are probably suffering for it.
Florida station WFTV reportedly obtained a copy of the letter, which acknowledges the appearance of photographers on school grounds and a shared frustration with the other parents. “We hope that the paparazzi will find something better to do with their time in the near future,” the letter said. “In the meantime, it is our goal to keep life as normal as possible for our children. We are sure that as parents you can appreciate that. For Sam, that normalcy means attending the school that she enjoys so much… Kind regards, Elin and Tiger Woods.” [Parade]
