I wish that I could say I am excited about the new trailer for The Grudge 3. However, I think you and I both know that this film is gonna suck harder than Brit Brit, on her frappe drip, when her caffeine levels start to get low [Website – Amy Grindhouse].
This is the third installment in The Grudge franchise… CLICK FOR THE NEW TRAILER AND SPOILERS!
The Grudge 3 is due for release in 2009. According to the film’s Wiki page, the synopsis is as follows:
A compassionate psychiatrist beaming with intelligence, Dr. Sullivan is in charge of treating Jake, a terribly disturbed boy following the massacre of his family. He vehemently believes that the woman who killed his family will find and kill him as well. Not a superstitious woman, Dr. Sullivan believes it is all in Jake’s mind, until she witnesses the unthinkable. Thus begins her research into his family’s death and a Japanese curse that she comes to believe is real and very much alive. With Naoko,a Japanese woman, Max, the big brother of her patient Jake and Lisa, a younger sister of Karen and Aubrey, she confronts the ghost of Kayako to save her soul from her impending tragic fate.
I am yet to watch the movie trailer below, so sorry if it blows. I might watch it later with a hot piece of arse man/ woman/ other next to me, to distract me. Nothing like a nice cuddle from a total stranger to distract from the EPIC failings of a copy-and-paste, Hollywood, straight-to-DVD movie.
Nothing against The Grudge as a premise, you understand. I love a good scary movie I do.
Just that the American version of The Grudge is such a raped and pillaged, poorer, younger sibling of the Japanese original that it pains me to think about watching this trailer. Akshully, eff that *getting angry* these muther chuckers are lucky that I don’t stage one of my famous one-woman protests about the colossal suckiness of this (assumed) colon blow of a movie!
Watch The Grudge 3 (2009) trailer below if you care… or don’t. See if I give a sh*t.

I’m right with you there mate. It was a brave effort to take on any Japanese horror, especially one with such a cult following!
