Following the teaser that played after the Captain America end credits, here’s the first full-length trailer for The Avengers. I just watched this whole thing, which I never do. I don’t generally have time to watch trailers, so I’ll check to make sure the video works and glean what I need and move on. But I watched this from start to finish. Mainly because I was… waiting. I couldn’t tell you what for. But I was waiting. Maybe for the trailer to really get started. Which it never did, incidentally. I had some random thoughts as I waited for the crescendo: I still hate Chris Evans’ dye-job; I still want to run my fingers through Chris Hemsworth’s hair; thank goodness RDJ, Samual L. Jackson and Jeremy Renner don’t mind carrying this film; Loki is a caricature; Scarlett Johansson is clothed; this looks budget; HULK SMAAASH; where is this going… oh. Do you like it?
