Image Info:

All images that appear on the site are either generic stock photos from iBaller; other generic or public domain photos; or properly licensed by their respective owners. For example, the PicApp images; and the Splash and Pacific Coast News images (via GumGum) are used with full legal permission and I have acquired the rights/ license to use them.

You may NOT reproduce images from this site in any way. This includes the site logo and any other logos and images with the AmyGrindhouseDotCom brand.

Also, do NOT attempt to hotlink. It is very easy to tell when images are in-line linked and I will not hesitate to move the image (thus breaking the link) and inform the appropriate copyright holder that you have used their images in this way, thus breaching their rights. The majority of the images are java/flash/ other code based and so cannot easily be infringed in this way anyhow. The bulk of the rest are heavily branded with my logo, just to show that I took the time to display them. To be frank, it is not that hard to source cheap or FREE legal images via the copyright holder. Don’t be lazy. I am sure you can source your own just as easily!

UPDATED COMMENT POLICY (As of 29/8/08):

1. All comments will be moderated for the life of this blog, as every comment you leave deserves my full attention and the easiest way to make sure of that is to hand verify everything that goes through.

2. Comments will not appear until hand-approved by the site Editor.

3. First comments will be hand approved by the site author. This is due to a reader poll where you told me you’d rather only have your first comment moderated.
   

4. Spam and trolls are not allowed – Do Not Feed The Trolls!

5. There is ease of commenting without word verification – and I intend to keep it that way.

6. Please keep comments relevant and about the post itself.

7. Self -promotion in the body of the comment will result in it being deleted without approval.

FORMATTING:

1. Branding and copyright info are added to the top and bottom of each post, to fight against splogs and screen-scrapers.

2. I will always aim to quote sources, where possible, please note I cannot always link back (as I am trying to build page rank – outlinks leak page rank).

3. I will try not to be a caps whore, but sometimes it is needed.

4. I am going to write 1-5 times per day at most, unless it is a particularly busy news day.

5. I will not usually write on weekends, unless there is a big news story.

6. I will not post on slow news days.

Lastly, this website was built in Firefox and works fine in that, Safari and Opera. Also, the site was designed in 1024×768 (so, is best viewed in that resolution). If the formatting looks all offside and maybe a bit mangled, it is probably ‘cos you are in Explorer… but then I guess you’ll have more serious problems, eh?
