Taylor Swift appeared on The View Tuesday Sept. 15, 2009.
While on the show the country singer was quizzed about the last few days and all of the annoying overblown madness that happened since the VMAs. The VMAs this year were a damn joke, but one thing we did come away with is that Swift is very well held together and handles herself far better than her 19-years would have you think.

Swift was asked about what happened while she was on the VMAs stage. As you would expect she said she was excited to have won her first ever award until… well… you know. Swift also said that at the time of filming and despite his three public apologies, two on his Kanye University blog and one on The Jay Leno Show, West had not reached out to her personally.
But don’t start sending him caps-laden emails in anger just yet. After Swift’s appearance on the show the rapper phoned to say sorry himself.
When they asked her what was going on in her head during the moment Kanye stole the mic from her at the MTV VMA’s Taylor said her sequence of thought upon was: “‘Wow, I can’t believe I won… This is awesome… Don’t trip and fall… I’m gonna get to thank the fans, this is so cool… Oh, Kanye West is here…Cool haircut. What are you doing there? And then ouch. And then, I guess I’m not going to get to thank the fans.” (via Daily Stab)
