Taylor Momsen Doesn't Wanna be a Role Model

Taylor Momsen is not in her right mind, and is feeling the full affects of half-a-dozen layers of eyeshadow seeping into her bloodstream. The actress and wannabe singer just wants to be free to under-dress and wear black nail polish, like any other 16-year-old. Momsen also wants you to know she doesn’t give a damn about your kids/ what kind of influence she has on them. She said as much, but with a swear word or two thrown in there, for good measure.

She caught a lot of flack when she said she didn’t give a damn about Haiti. She then allegedly tweeted that we were all stoopid for believing her earlier quote. She tells the UK’s fairly classy The Sunday Times Style all other tweens can go to hell. She doesn’t care whether or not she is a poor influence on her peers.

Taylor Momsen to the UK’s Sunday Times Style magazine on how her punk/ rebellious image affects young fans: “I don’t f****** care. I didn’t get into this to be a role model. So I’m sorry if I’m influencing your kids in a way that you don’t like, but I can’t be responsible for their actions.”
Momsen reached the final three for the role fo Hannah Montana: “Honestly, if I’d ended up as Hannah Montana, I don’t know if the show would have gone as well. I probably would have told them all to go f*** themselves by the time I hit 11.” She continues, “And I don’t know how that would have gone down. It’s great for Miley [Cyrus], but I really like where I am right now and I feel really fortunate to be able to really be myself.”
Meanwhile, Momsen, who plays Jenny Humphrey on the hit CW show, gets a hard time from her fans’ mothers: “My favorite blogs are where you get the mothers saying, ’she’s the worst influence on my daughter, I would never let my daughter dress like that,’ she says, “or ‘this girl’s such a whore, she’s a slut’ and I’m like, you’re a mother and I’m 16!”
