Taylor Momsen is really bitter about the fact that she’s ageing at the same rate as the rest of us puny humans. I think she wishes she could hurry up and age, already. Or have gotten the ‘drinking’ years out of the way, first, Benjamin Button-style. Whatever her problem is, it leads her to swear during interviews for no reason. For example, in this interview with the UK’s FHM magazine. Speaking of constant age-a-like comparisons to Miley Cyrus, Momsen says the following.
I’m not looking to be Miley f***ing Cyrus. I don’t care about the fame. I do it because I love music. I like making records and if people like them, then we’ll go along for the ride. I’m not dissing Miley personally. However, I do think the Disney bubblegum s**t that the world is living right now is pathetic. I thought we passed that repression. I don’t know Miley, but musically we’re different. To compare us because of our age is silly.
