Taylor Momsen Really Doesn’t Care About Haiti

Taylor Momsen wasted her breath in her Seventeen interview, in which she bemoaned being compared to Lindsay Lohan. The Gossip Girl star, wannabe singer, and foetal fashionista made a statement about world news today that actually made her sub-Lohan, a new low that many didn’t think possible. The tween was asked what she thought about the tragedies befalling those caught in the aftermath of the Haiti earthquake. She responded as any vapid 16-year-old would, if caught in a tailspin from the after-affects of eye-liner poisoning, that she didn’t care. She said the was too busy finishing her craptastical record, which I hope no one buys now. Because it’s a record more important than taking two minutes out of your day, or sacrificing nail polish money, to think about those in need. Bare in mind this is a girl who often leaves the house in just her underwear, as above, and thinks black nail polish makes her punk rock.

“Right now I’m trying to just finish my record and getting through the last season of Gossip Girl for right now. So not so much thinking about that.”

Every time this ignorant brat’s upcoming record sells, a puppy gets kicked. You don’t want to be responsible for more pain and suffering in the world, do you?!

There are a bunch of photos of Racoon Face whoring out her products, in a gown and what look like black workmen’s boots. She was promoting her new fragrance Love Rocks in New York City, on January 14, 2010. Remember. Puppies.

    1. Thanks for the comment, and the heads up. I removed two ad networks after someone reported that issue. I was hoping that got rid of the problem. I’ll absolutely look into it – so you don’t have to waste another pair of panties. xo

  2. shari says:

    2. Mystery says:

So? It’s her own personal opinion. Look at the other disasters and tell me how much you would care about them. Like the Sichuan Earthquake which was a MUCH GREATER MAGNATUDE THAN THE HAITI EARTHQUAKE.

  3. Rain says:

    Well, well…

It seems the bleach skipped her roots and sank straight down to her brain.

    1. Yep, that and the toxins from all those layers of eyeliner really jacked her up.

typical of today’s youth…all they care about is their stuff

Not at all – me and everyone else online agrees. She can think what she likes/ not follow the crowd… but she has a brain. That isn’t the way to express that opinion. She could at least have worded it a little better.

I 100% agree with this article. This girl is a pretentious brat who always has this look on her face like she’s on crack.

    1. Thanks again, she’s a mini Courtney Love, and we aren’t the only ones who noticed.

  8. x says:

Nice article, I totally agree with you. EXCEPT the part where you said any 16 year old would reply with an answer like hers. I’m 16, and I really sympathise with the victims of the earthquake. I would in no way ever act the way she did. I’m tired of people stereotyping all young teens as stupid and inconsiderate.

    1. Hey there, thanks for stopping by and the comment.

Nice article, I totally agree with you. EXCEPT the part where you said any 16 year old would reply with an answer like hers.

I actually didn’t generalise teens. I say, sarcastically, in the article:

She responded as any vapid 16-year-old would, if caught in a tailspin from the after-affects of eye-liner poisoning, that she didn’t care.

I was poking fun of her style/ and her vapid answer. Not has age especially. I know most teens have more sense than her! ;)

  9. ranyu says:

She is scared of black people. There was a picture of her on the GG set, and this black guy came up to her (probably trying to pick her up, because she looked like a cheap hooker) and her face was all “Ugh, theres a black person – talking to me…ewww.” Too bad that black guy didnt tear her a new one.

    1. I don’t recall that photo – but she sure gets away with a lot. People are still cursing her out for this quote.

  10. Mystery says:

I don’t care either. It’s just a damn thing that’s going to pass over sooner or later. God, why do we need to care about it in the US? It’s Haiti’s own business. I know about the deaths, but really. I mean, look at the news about Haiti, and look at everything else. Why is Haiti so important? I relaly do not give a shit about haiti right now. Nor should any one else. All this comotion is for nothing. Look at other things happning in the world as well, and do we notice them? We’re destroying the world ourselves, but do we care to stop it? People are caring too much about Haiti. Its so stupid. I agree with her, but she’s from hollywood, so she’s probably a self centered bitch.

I won’t curse her out, she has a point though. She has other things to worry about, Amy Grindhouse. I don’t think you should give a damn about this.

    1. Rain says:

So I take it you use a “scale” of caring?

This is without a doubt the most moronic statement so far from any poster on this site.

To imply that we should care about the pain and suffering of anyone is to accept and condone the pain and suffering of everyone.

It’s not just inhumane, it’s not human at all.

Sounds like evolution is really a “Mystery” to you.

      1. Rain says:

“To imply that we should care about the pain and suffering of anyone is to accept and condone the pain and suffering of everyone.”

That should have read: “To imply that we SHOULD NOT”

  11. Rain says:

Besides, Mystery, as Americans we definitely should care.

If you know anything about the history of Haiti and Latin America, you would realize that Haiti’s current political and economic misfortune was engineered by American political decisions going way back to its independence when we refused to

1- recognize it’s independence from France because they were black slaves that revolted and we didn’t want to give our slaves any ideas and

2- when we helped create the Cuban sugar industry to destroy Haiti’s sugar industry to make sure they wouldn’t have a viable economy.

We then took over the country for periods of time to enforce payments they couldn’t make on loans AFTER we destroyed their only cash generator (the sugar industry).

We turned that country into the basket case it is today for various political reasons.

Do you self and read a book. You, those square things with paper in the middle and funny squiggly designs in them. Those are called letters and they create words and those words record events and other peoples thoughts.

    1. Dear Rain,

Mystery’s comment was let through as it (barely) fits within my moderation policy. Mystery didn’t put a proper email, so they won’t get an immediate notice of your comment, but anyone that provocative (I assume) will come back and check for replies.

Thank you for articulately chiming in on the discussion – as always.

      Amy xoxo

Well, I do get irritated at that typically American habit of piling stupidity on top of stupidity.
