Britney Spears is having a pretty crappy week. She is said to be upset about fans walking out during a performance and criticisms of her Australian shows.

Britney Spears landed in Australia last week for her first ever shows there. Having not lip-synced and waddled around on an Aussie stage before, she clearly didn’t know that they have far higher standards for their shows down under. The singer, who isn’t really a singer but we aren’t supposed to point it out in case we upset her, was called out for her not singing live.

Last week, officials in Australia were debating whether it should have been mandatory to declare on promotional material that Spears was not singing live for most of her show. This is not something most of us need pointing out. Her fans know she would sound like unicorn farts and possum burps if she ever tried to sing and stumble around like a drunken college student at the same time. However, the controversy ended badly on the weekend. It was reported that hundreds of her fans walked out, three songs in, during her second show.

After poor reviews and non-stop bashings in the media, Spears is said to be sobbing into the shedding strands of her weave and then blowing her nose into her bras before they disintegrate from non-use.

“Britney is aware of all this and she’s extremely upset by it,” Paul Dainty, Spears’ tour promoter, told The Australian on Monday. “She’s a human being. I’m embarrassed, with such a big international entourage here with Britney, to be part of the Australian media when I see that kind of totally inaccurate reporting.” Critics called her first concert, held in Perth on Friday, “boring” and “stiff.” In their reporting, Perth Now claimed “hundreds of fans stormed out” of the Friday concert. One fan, 22-year-old Amanda Hawlet put it bluntly: “I want my money back or I want her to sing properly. The ticket cost me $200 and she lip-synced the whole thing.” (via Pop Eater)

As expected, Britney Spears failed to impress her fans during her Australian concerts. What wasn’t expected was hundreds of them walking out.

Britney Spears and her sad, disoriented nipples landed in Australia on Thursday Nov. 5, for her concerts. No one was really expecting the shows to be any good. Even John Mayer has enough of a grip to know your standards have to be pretty low to expect that. No one who has heard Spears’ sound board recordings, or heard her wheeze through a so-called live performance, would ever want to see her in concert. Yet, oddly, some of her Australian concerts still sold out.

People paid legal tender to go, costing them $182 to $1,370 US dollars a ticket. A decision they later realised was as foolhardy as mailing her all those bras.

During a show in Perth, only three songs into the performance, hundreds of people started heading for the door. They were reportedly furious about being ripped off, watching her lip-sync the show. This is after the New South Wales Minister for Fair Trade, Virginia Judge, chimed in claiming people in the country should be warned portions of the show were not live.

Britney Spears landed in Australia only yesterday and she is already being targeted by officials who are concerned over lip-syncing in her concert.

The braless singer and her sad, wonky nips touched down in Perth, yesterday. She was there to perform her first ever concerts in Australia.

Officials were more concerned about the singer’s mouth, than any threat her nipples could cause to public health and safety. In the rest of the world Spears is free to rip off fans by miming and lazily waddling around on stage like she’s constipated, but that crap doesn’t wash down under.

Virginia Judge, Minister for Fair Trading for New South Wales, the Australian state that includes Sydney says they are considering ways to let fans know they’re paying for half a concert and not getting many live vocals for their money. It seems they take issue with Circus tickets going for up to $1,300, when the singer won’t make a sound other than on the odd song and in the intervals.

The ideas they have so far include putting a disclaimer on tickets and promotional material. They may be too late to stop stans blinded by love spending their dough. Many of the shows ar already sold out.

Britney Spears released the full official music video, for her new single 3.

The song is also being referred to as 1, 2, 3, and is said to be a naughty ditty about having threesomes. You can read the lyrics for yourself and decide.

The video was hyped up with three five-second-long teaser clips. These were released on Britney Spears’ verified Twitter account yesterday 1, 2, and 3. There were also three music video stills released, to whet fans’ appetities 1, 2, and 3, these stills showed the fashion and make-up.

The clips did a great job of leading up to less than an hour ago, when the video was released. This is hot off the press, and you guys will be some of the first to see it. Breath in and count to 3 and watch the 3 music video world premiere.

Britney Spears took to her official Twitter to share with her fans the first look at The Singles Collection album, boxed set. The photo above shows the upcoming compilation album, un-boxed, along with the single covers.

Spears tweeted this photo (via Ear Sucker), and let fans know The Singles Collection: Ultimate Fan Box Set will be available from Nov. 24th, 2009. This is the second reveal of the week, after new single 3 was released on the radio.

Our Lady of Cheese Puffs dusted herself off, put on her most raggedy looking Daisy Dukes and some sessy Uggs and went on a little trip to Target with two of her security people. Nothing odd there you say. See nothing of concern that would otherwise raise alarm? Okay. Well, put down the can of fizzy Bacon Lube for a second and try to focus, damn you.

There’s something plainly disturbing doing on in these pictures that is rather a serious cause for concern. You’ve probably been going over the R.D.A. of Bacon Lube if you can’t see it. The Lube can start to affect your eyesight if you drink too much of it. You may wanna switch to administering it intravenously to stave off the withdrawal shakes (the next symptom after your loss of eyesight).

You remember, where our little Cheese Puff didn’t wear a bra or panties for a whole year and she lived in the above pair of ratty D.D.s for the entire year also.

First, it was the return of the ratty weave that got people talking. Then, it was her renewed co-dependant relationship with Starbucks. Now, the see-through shirts and cut-off shorts have come back. All the key warning signs are there, that the pre-conservatorship Spears is making a comeback.

Not that I think she’s going to lose it again. Don’t be silly. But she does look like her old, dishevelled self and that’s not good.

Britney Spears has just released the lyrics, cover and audio for her new single, entitiled 3. The track premiered today on New York’s Z100.

The 3 single cover was released yesterday and the 3 lyrics a little before that.

There are also leaks and audio downloads available, but I’ve spent some time in YouTube Jail this year and I can’t even be bothered at this point to go and get the bootleg MP3 of the clip. Oh, and should you be curious, YouTube Jail is kind of like Mall Jail, but with far less throw cushions to go around, bunkbeds instead of waterbeds, and really cheap, scratchy potty paper.

I was going to entitle this post, Hmm, So This Is Why She Never Sings Live, or words to that effect, but it was just a little too easy.

Britney Spears sang live for the only time that I have seen so far, during her Circus Live World Tour 2009. The singer stunned fans in Greensboro, NC, as she cleared the cheese dust and cigarette ash out of her throat and sang all proper like an actual musician, to Alanis Morrisette’s 1995 song You Oughta Know.

Britney Spears looked great as she took son Jayden James Federline to see the Shrek the Musical on Broadway, New York City.

Not much to say here other than thank the cheesy heavens that our Lady of Cheese Puffs finally got herself to a decent weave-makers and got her hair did. The matted extensions she’d been sporting for a while were getting old. Spears either washed and ran a comb through them or… oh, never mind. She got her damn extensions done.

Britney Spears has had a great comeback and has managed to stay on the wagon, while under the conservatorship of her dungeon master daddy. No tales of her acting like a wayward tween or falling out of clubs in the middle of the night. In fact, the only sign that she may be wobbling is that her weave seems to be a little out of control.

Anyways, Spears has landed seven nominations at the 26th Annual MTV Video Music Awards, including the top category for Video of the Year, but a number of industry insiders are questioning whether or not the pop princess and the video accompanying her hit single Womanizer really deserve quite so many nominations.

“We were surprised she got so many nominations because she has been ‘lip synching’ and while she is talented, the terrain has changed so this may be sympathy nominations because she is getting well,” one baffled industry insider told Fox News on Wednesday.

Some bigwigs in the music world have even suggested that MTV simply handed Britney the massive number of nods to encourage a boost in the VMAs lagging ratings. Britney’s almost career-ending performance at the 2007 Video Music Awards sent viewership sailing up from the year before by more than 41 percent. “Every network is hurting for eyeballs. Britney always draws an audience.” (via Pop Crunch)

I’d say that for the most part I agree. Her new material is hardly worthy of so many nominations in a year with so many more deserving artists coming onto the scene. Pity nominations only degrade the VMA brand further.
