Since being accused of a serious assault committed against his girlfriend Rihanna, Chris Brown has been hiding in order to escape the paps [Website – Amy Grindhouse].

After a week of crazy, inflated reporting about the facts of his assault case, it’s no wonder Brown wants to get away from the media scrutiny and go to ground – where is Brown hiding you ask – well, according to some reports the star is in Las Vegas with a group of friends.

According to E! Online, the 19-year-old singer may be staying at the Vegas Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. A Sin City source said, “They had to kick out any paparazzi that were around and get him tons of security to sneak him in.”

“We cannot confirm that Chris is staying with us,” a Hard Rock spokesman tells E! “However, several of his friends are staying on [the] property.”

Apparently the singer (or should I say, former singer) is doing well and his long-term stylist says Brown is regretful about the way the situation has turned out. “Chris is all right. He’s a good kid. He feels very bad that something like this has happened,” his longtime wardrobe stylist Mike B. tells PEOPLE. 

Another friend echoes that sentiment, telling PEOPLE, “You can tell everybody that Chris really feels bad about the whole situation, about it coming out the way that it happened, the way he went about it, the way she went about it … it’s just a wack situation.”

So, there are another butt-load of Alien Princess RiRi and Ike Turner Brown updates to tell you peeps about [Website – Amy Grindhouse].

The first and saddest is that today shocking tales of the exact extent of Rihanna’s injuries have been revealed by inside sources and it ain’t pretty. Several news outlets are reporting that Brown beat Rihanna so badly that he broke several of her teeth and he hit her face so hard her eyes became swollen shut.

I am so sad typing this. This is the type of story one does not cover often and to be honest, I don’t enjoy, nor do I sleep well after writing about this kind of sad event. Between feeling sad for someone who some bloggers are speculating may have been a prolonged victim of domestic abuse – due to the escalating nature of the crime – and also feeling real shock at this happening between such a young couple.

The two saddest reports today are that Brown actually threatened to kill his girlfriend. Says NY Daily News, ”Brown, 19, wrapped his hands around his girlfriend’s neck and screamed, “I’m going to kill you!”

According to The Sun baby girl was beaten so badly that she may require plastic surgery, “Cops took multiple pictures at the scene. Chris Brown allegedly hit Rihanna so hard with his fists, she could barely open her eyes for the photos — they were almost completely swollen shut. She had a fat lip, her mouth was swollen, her nose was badly bloodied, and she had contusions on her forehead and both sides of her face.”

UPDATE – According to TMZ some idiot has been emailing news websites photoshopped pics of Rihanna that show drawn on bruises. Some people are actually dense enough to think it’s real!
