Evidently, Esquire can get anyone to do anything. I don’t think this is the first time Dame Helen Mirren has effectively gone nude in a photo shoot. But this is quite something. For the issue of Esquire covered by Daniel Craig, Mirren disrobes and covers her dirty pillows with a flag. It’s a little weird for me, I don’t know. I think it’s her body language. The shoot’s saying ‘Tits, or GTFO,’ her face is saying ‘I was just running to the bathroom to pee, brb.’ She looks uncomfortable.
Because talent and faking a series of orgasms to the sound of Justin Timberlake’s intolerable voice isn’t enough to please people these days, Mila Kunis covers the August 2011 GQ in her panties. I don’t know. I like her and the fact that she had such a non-reaction to being pimped by Justin Timberlake makes me like her even more. Well, rather than give Timberlake a cover of this men’s magazine, I guess, Kunis is taking another one for the team in order to promote a movie basically released in January with another name. I’m overwhelmed by the panties and underwhelmed by GQ’s thinking on this one. They should have, at least, hedged their bets and had them both on the cover; as is the done thing now.

I skipped parts of each episode out of boredom and I’m not sure that I watched every episode. It was poorly-staged, scripted and acted and the family drama was tame and rather puerile. Oh, and her mother’s portrayed as drunk even when sober. Nice. Well, she’s giving an interview with FHM UK and she’s trying to be interesting. Failing that, she talks about being sexy. Failing that too, she talks about her love of old-timey murders. This isn’t her first Maxim shoot, but since it’s rumoured the entire Jersey Shore cast is being replaced for the fifth season it may be her last. Amber Rose is feigning shock at the leak of incredibly explicit photos released to MediaTakeOut.com. For reasons of her tickling her own insides, or perhaps itching somewhere that demanded to be itched, I’m not going to upload the leaks. They’re NSFW, but you can view the leaked VERY explicit nudes at the site of a buddy of mine. Anyway, as she did with a recent VIBE interview where she claimed to have been taken completely out of context, as though the magazine was new at this or she didn’t know the score, Rose again pled ignorance. Clarifying that she didn’t leak the nudes, Rose denied that she sent the photos to the assistant and rumoured boyfriend of Nicki Minaj, Safaree; bare in mind Rose has a boyfriend, budget rapper Wiz Khalifa. This is her second explicit leak. In February, nudes were leaked to WorldStarHipHop.com. Last year, Rose appeared in Minaj’s video for Massive Attack. Minaj credits Rose with connecting her to Rose’s ex-boyfriend, Kanye West, for whom she rapped on last year’s Monster.

The leak of the Beyonce and Christina Aguilera W covers gave most of the game away. We’ve already seen the entire photo editorial. So, all that’s left, along with the official release of the photos, is the interview. And it’s below. Aguilera seems interesting and probably smarter than she’s given credit for. However, she’s another person who’s asked about the same two or three things and so she ends up coming off one-note. In this case, as we could have predicted, she’s asked about the troubled childhood she packed to sell her Stripped album and she’s asked about recent legal troubles and the Super Bowl/ Grammys screw ups. She pretty much repeats stories already told on Ellen and in other interviews. It’s like it’s February all over again. Oh, and she was targeted by meany popos during her March arrest, because she’s famous. Noting that police expected her to be a drunken troublemaker, she quips, ‘I think they were bored that night.’
