Rock band Weezer cancelled their scheduled concerts for December, after lead singer Rivers Cuomo was hospitalised with three cracked ribs from a crash. The crash occurred on Sunday December 6, 2009, after the band’s bus hit a patch of ice on a freeway about 40 miles from Albany. Cuomo’s wife and 2-year-old little girl were on the bus, but thankfully were not injured.

The Ratitude tour, including a free concert they were offering in connection with T-mobile, is affected. There is no word from the band as yet on whether dates will be rescheduled or whether people will be offered refunds for tickets.

Tiger Woods Thanks Sponsors for Their Support

Tiger Woods is making like it’s Thanksgiving again. Thus far, no less than six women have been implicated as possible mistresses of Woods. I gave up at number three as sometimes I get lightheaded trying to count too much higher.

He’s got hos in different area codes and they’re all as skanky, low class, and broke down as each other. At this point it’s easier to start naming skanks who haven’t been sleeping with him… hmm… does anyone know what Paris Hilton’s vagina has been doing with itself these days? No one? Okay. Well, as I was saying, Woods was giving thanks as though he actually has much to be thankful for. He posted a message on his official site about the final round of the Chevron World Challenge ZZZZZZ. Something, whatever. Woods thanked both fans and sponsors for their continued support. Reading between the lines he seems to be thanking them for more than just the tournament. He seems to be thanking them for sticking with him through the scandal. In his words, “As the final round of the Chevron World Challenge begins, I would like to extend my heartfelt thank you to everyone affiliated with the event, especially our amazing title sponsor, Chevron. [...] Lastly, I’d like to thank our fans for continuing to support us.”

Billy Joel’s Daughter Alexa in Stable Condition

Alexa Ray Joel, daughter from the marriage of Billy Joel and former model Christie Brinkley, was sent to a Manhattan hospital yesterday after consuming an unknown quantity of pills. The pills are yet to be identified by authorities. The police say they are yet to determine whether this was a suicide attempt. According to reports, Joel took the pills following a breakup with her boyfriend.

Her roommate called 911 at 12:24 PM to say Joel was having trouble breathing. Detective Sessa of the The New York Police Department spoke exclusively to OK! regarding the call, “At 12:24 hours today, we responded to 19 Bethune Street on a 911 call for an aided case…EMS transported her to St. Vincent’s hospital.”

Rep Claire Mercuri confirmed Joel was in stable condition, after she was transferred to hospital by ambulance at 12:30 PM. Mercuri would not clarify a reason for the hospitalisation, saying only her needs were being assessed.

Alexa Ray Joel Hospitalised for Suicide Attempt

The daughter of musician Billy Joel and former model Christie Brinkley, Alexa Ray Joel, was hospitalised on Saturday December 5, 2009. The 23-year-old aspiring singer and pianist was found by a roommate after a suspected overdose of sleeping pills. She was taken to St. Vincent’s hospital. Her publicist Claire Mercuri confirms that her client’s condition has stabilised.

Alexa Ray Joel, according to law enforcement officials, took an unknown number of pills following a breakup with her boyfriend. Her roommate made a call to 911 at 12:24 PM to report an emotionally disturbed person was having trouble breathing at their West Village apartment. There are suspicions that the overdose was deliberate, but authorities say they are not 100% sure at this time whether she took the pills by accident or was trying to harm herself.

The past week, from last Friday to today, has been Tiger Woods overload. It snowballed out of nowhere and the PGA star has seen his world turned upside down, over something that could otherwise have been kept a family matter.

NY Daily News pulled together a whole bunch of ZOMG WTF! reactions from celebrities thrilled to be asked and linked to the scandal. A little scandal is good for everyone, as they get to chime in their ten cents. Their ten cents happens to be worth around two cents, because nothing they say makes any sense. But someone saw fit to pull together a list of quotes from quite a few celebrities.

George Clooney offered his reaction to the scandal while at the premiere for of his new film, Up in the Air. The rest offered their opinions on Twitter. The woman above is the alleged third mistress of Tiger Woods, Kalika Moquin.

Moquin is a Marketing Manager for The Bank nightclub, Las Vegas. She claims she got with Woods at his Las Vegas hotel during the weekend of October 23.

One girl who looked like she tripped and fell into the offices of Us Weekly by accident wasn’t enough. Woods had to bang his way around every club and bar around town. He should have had an affair with one of the old ladies who lived in his gated community, they may have had more to lose and not sold him out so quick. Snagging media-savvy 20-somethings only seems like a good idea while you’re hitting it and sending fail sexts. As soon as they release voice and text messages to Us, or go running to Life and Style or whomever, it’s all over.

It’s alleged Woods’ wife Elin smashed up his car, as he was trying to flee from their house. There are probably more women where this chick came from. Woods needs to hide his golfing equipment and move somewhere GRRRRRRR-proof.
