Here’s Mariah Carey performing a season-closing concert at the Ischgl ski resort in Austria where no one’s wearing thicker pants because VPL loses to the more-refined Wookie Wallet (superior to the original wallet). Carey and Nick Cannon renewed their vows in Austria, and Carey stashed a spare wallet under her dress.

Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey have been in Aspen since the holidays/ NYE. However, they’re stuck there longer than planned after Cannon became ill with kidney failure. His wife stayed by his side, tweeted for sympathy, crammed herself on top of him in his hospital bed, and demoted kidney failure from ‘ZOMG’ to ‘mild’ so it wouldn’t distract from her martyr act. Carey shared this photo on her website, it’s Cannon in bed hooked up to a bunch of monitors, along with the caption: ‘This is us in the hospital… role reversal. Last year it was me attached to the machines (after having dembabies) and Nick was there with me through it, and now here we are. We’re trying to be as festive as possible under the circumstances but please keep Nick in your thoughts because this is very painful. They tried to kick me out of the hospital but here I am pon de bed with Mr. C.  We’re doing OK but we’re ‘straaaaaanded in Aspen.’ #DramaticDivaPlace (I know, we could be in a lot worse places) but the truth is as long as we’re together, we’re OK. I’m not trying to make light out of the situation because it’s a serious moment that’s very tough on all of us so please keep us and our family in your prayers. LYM.’ ‘Stranded’ in the land of the over-caffeinated 1%. She’s laying next to him and, honestly, he looks less-than-impressed. But she’s nursing him back to health. She’s, like, the prettiest doctor ever. She cured ‘mild’ kidney failure while wearing checked pants and no make-up. IT’S A MIRACLE.
