Eminem Punisher Marvel Comic XXL Cover

eminem-punisher-marvel-comic

Eminem’s Punisher Marvel Comic XXL cover to promote ‘Relapse’ album.

Eminem can be seen above as he covers and features in the XXL special edition Punisher comic from Marvel.

The rapper, 36, is promoting his new single ’3a.m.’ and his album ‘Relapse’ (the album has been leaked and is available to download already).

Editor-in-Chief of Marvel Comics, Joe Quesada, said of the comic, ”When we learned that Eminem is a fan and collector of Marvel comics, we could only imagine what would happen if The Punisher and Slim Shady met up in the Marvel Universe. This was a unique partnership and the team had a blast working with Eminem and incorporating the rapper into the Marvel fold.”

His recent ‘3a.m.’ music video has gotten some mixed reviews and tales of drug addiction, as reported in the actual XXL magazine, got a surprisingly tepid response from the media. Personally, I kind of like that Slim is cooling off the fame wh*re game a little and working on projects that are this fun and creative. That is all his real fans are interested in anyway, and the comic is such a unique way to promote his album.

Assuming you didn’t bootleg it already, you can buy ‘Relapse’ in stores, 19 May.

Christian Bale Esquire UK Cover & Interview

christian-bale-esquire-pictures

Christian Bale Esquire UK cover for June 2009 and another promotional shot.

Christian Bale can be seen above on the cover of Esquire UK June 2009 issue. The actor, 35, shot a cover and gave the magazine an interview in which he discusses the famous ‘Terminator Salvation’ rant.

I had to look back to check, but I think I kept the last post I did on him pretty clean. My irrational hunger for all things Señor Bale has grown significantly since that time, and so I will wipe off the puddin’ from my keyboard and attempt to keep it as non-disgusting as I can.

The ‘Dark Knight’ actor’s words can be seen below but, before we get to that, can we just take a second to indulge. Pedo-beard and (very) weathered skin taken into adequate account, this may be the most astonishingly sexy man walking the face of the earth.

Not even his hideous penchant for cargo pants and flip flops can distract from his steely gaze. My homie homes described the look adequately when talking about Slim Shady, and I paraphrase, “He looks like he would strangle me while we were having sex”. Indeed. Not that I engage in that kind of tomfoolery (nor does she), but that is precisely what I should imagine it would be like to lay down in bed with him minutes before I ate him alive, picked clean his bones and tossed his remains on the pile along with the carcasses of Eyebrows Crawford of Gossip Girl, Josh Hairnet and Jakey Poo.

My hands are trembling from trying (and failing) to cover up how unfathomably horny this man makes me. I think I actually broke a light sweat just from writing the post title.  So, anyway, shall we get back to business.

Christian Bale shot some utterly ridiculous photos (top right and below) and also gave an interview with Esquire UK June 2009 issue, which goes on sale tomorrow in England.

As has been pointed out before, he does not have ONE mellow bone in his entire body. Sexy.

Bale expands on his infamous four-minute tirade on the set of “Terminator: Salvation,” caught on tape and transmitted across the globe earlier this year. “It’s not excusable what I did. I went way overboard. A lot of it was to do with the scene we were doing and stupid as it may sound to a lot of people, my character was going through a great deal in that particular scene. The person on the receiving end is a grown man. Believe me, he really wasn’t fazed by it.”

But Bale says he’s not making excuses. ”Like I said, I had it coming. It should never have been recorded. It was recorded for jollies. But I’m not trying to cover up. So there’s not embarrassment in that I wanted to keep it hidden. I’d done it in front of a whole lot of people. I take full responsibility for it. I’ve never said anything different. I’m not blaming it on anything. I took it a bit too far.”

Bale plays it a little more close to the vest when it comes to the alleged hotel assault involving his sister and mother that landed him being questioned for four hours in a police station on the eve of the European premiere of “The Dark Night” last July. “I just think it’s a family matter. That’s the end of it. I will not take part in this gossip nation, you know?” (via Fox News)

Eminem Vibe Cover & Interview (June 2009)

eminem-vibe-june-2009-cover

Eminem can be seen above on the cover of the June/ July 2009 Real Rap issue of Vibe magazine.

Preempting that you will ask me for answers, let me say that no, I have no damn idea why this man cannot seem to take a decent picture of late. It’s not like he is the ugliest guy in the game right now, he was almost doable at one point. Now, if I were to do it with him, I might be forced to test drive with someone else’s first.

Check out the Vibe interview below and also watch his the full video for ’3 a.m.’.

Eminem reveals he suffered from a devastating drug addiction that led to him downing as many as 20 Vicodin, Ambien and Valium in a day. “The numbers got so high, I don’t even know what I was taking.”

Following his first stint in rehab in 2005, the rapper, 36, tells VIBE he nearly overdosed after an acquaintance gave him unidentified blue pills, which a doctor later told him were actually methadone. “My doctor told me the amount of methadone I’d taken was equivalent to shooting up four bags of heroin,” Eminem says, noting that had he known, “I probably wouldn’t have taken it. But as bad as I was back then, I can’t even say 100 percent for sure.”

Shortly after detoxing, he suffered a knee injury that required surgery, but because of his drug abuse, he was not prescribed pain killers. “I started looking around my house to see if I had a stash box of Vicodin … I’m ransacking my house, finally find something in the basement, in a little napkin, seven and a half Vicodin – the big extra strength ones – and a few Valium.”

With his pill addiction spiraling out of control again, Eminem suffered his second relapse before accepting he suffered from drug addiction. “It never once hit me that drug addiction runs in my family. Now that I understand that I’m an addict, I definitely have compassion for my mother. I get it,” he says. (via People)

Lil Wayne Safe Sex Advice (Playboy Interview)

Lil_Wayne_AmyG_opt_spl82067_002

Lil Wayne, the pocket-sized rapper, with more prison-looking tattoos than you can shake a stick at, has given a new interview to Playboy magazine. In the interview, the chart-topper provides some details on how he keeps sexy times with his “hos” safe.

If you’re at work, you may wanna scroll down the MFing page reeeeal quick.

Wayne had some advice for men, and frankly himself on the issue (and on avoiding any further unwanted “ho” pregnancies).

“Let me tell you the trick to that. What you do is stop ramming them hos and make love to that pussy! Make that pussy love you and that rubber ain’t going nowhere. That rubber will be right there where you started off with if you make love to that pussy. That’s when a n*gga fuck up, when you trying to do too much. A n*gga like me, I am gonna make the pussy so wet that there’s no such thing as popping or slipping off. Only problem I am gonna have is keep slipping it in.”

Eminem XXL Cover & Interview (June 2009)

New Rapper Photo Spread

Eminem covers the June 2009 issue of XXL magazine. Not being a man who takes the time to divulge to magazines on anything like as regular a basis as some of his famewhore counterparts, it is kind of surprising that the newly slim rapper took the time to give XXL an exclusive interview, and a reeeally over-long one at that.

You can check out the interview below, and pick up his new album Relapse, in stores, 19 May 2009.

Eminem XXL Interview: Eminem talks about his drug addiction

“I wasn’t ready mentally. I wasn’t ready to give up the drugs. I didn’t really think I had a problem. Basically, I went in, and I came out. I relapsed, and I spent the next three years struggling with it. Also, at that time, I felt like I wanted to pull back, because my drug problem had got so bad. I felt like, Maybe if I take a break, maybe this will help. I started to get into the producer role more… I can still be out there with my music, like with the Re-Up album, but I don’t have to be in the spotlight the whole time.”

Eminem XXL Interview: Eminem talks about friend, Proof’s, death

“Everyone felt his loss, from his kids, to his wife, to everyone. But, for some reason, in hindsight, the way I felt was almost like it happened to just me… Maybe at the time I was a little bit selfish with it. I think it kind of hit me so hard. It just blindsided me. I just went into such a dark place that, with everything, the drugs, my thoughts, everything. And the more drugs I consumed, and it was all depressants I was taking, the more depressed I became, the more self-loathing I became… By the way, I’m just now at the point where I’m better talking about it. It took me so long to get out of that place where I couldn’t even speak about it without crying or wanting to cry… Proof was the anchor. He was everything to D12. And not just the group-for me, personally, he was everything.”

Eminem XXL Interview: Eminem talks about on T.I., Lil Wayne & hip-hop

“I stayed up on the music, and obviously I watch TV and saw what was going on. And without naming any names, it just felt like hip-hop was going downhill. And it seemed like kinda fast. You know, in them three years, it was like everybody just cares about the hook and the beat; nobody really cares about substance. But with this new T.I. album, with this new Lil Wayne album of recent, it seems like things are looking a lot better now. You can appreciate Lil Wayne using different words to rhyme and actually rhyming words that you know. Or T.I., where you hear shit and you’re like Whoa, ah, I wish I would have thought of that! You know what I mean? Or you hear all the compound-syllable rhyming and all that. It just seems like now the craft is getting cared about more.”

Who The Hell’s That: Halle On Harper’s Bazaar

Halle Berry Covers Harper's Bazaar May 2009 Issue

Halle Berry Covers Harper's Bazaar May 2009 Issue

I was browsing porn sites my usual daily gossip, and I stumbled on Halle Berry’s cover for the May 2009 issue of Harper’s Bazaar.

All I can say about the cover above, which Harper’s Bazaar claim is of 42-year-old Berry, is “WTF… who the eff is this”

That ain’t Halle Berry

Maybe it is her sandy blond, washed out looking twinsy, after a visit from the photoshop bitches who did Beyonce’s L’Oreal ad. But NOT Halle.

Ok, keed, I keed. She is photoshopped like the Photoshop bitches who usually work on MooMoo Carey have got some spare time on their hands, since the star lost weight, and they are roaming around Hollywood looking for other A-Listers to photoshop into oblivion.
