The 36-year-old mother-of-four is thinner and hotter than she has ever been, and inspires other mothers who don’t return to a teenage waistline after birth to drink the Kool-Aid. Heck, I don’t have no damn babies and these photos make me want to turn back the spiteful hands of time, and re-gain my pre-pubescent waist measurement. Oh, another thing, she appears to have a spider on her leg in this photo. So I don’t think aggressively swatting her leg with a rolled up newspaper would be uncalled for. On taking care of her skin: “I learned not to go in the sun early on in my career. A tan lasts for a week or two before it fades, and the sun is so damaging—it’s not worth it. I put sunscreen on my kids every day before school and before they play outside. They know the routine.”
On ageing: “You have to think about your whole body when you think about aging. In general, you have to be strong—and that starts with nutrition. I have a glass of milk with dinner every night. When I’m pregnant, I drink a liter of whole milk a day my trainer would say that’s crazy. It works for me.
On stretch marks: “I didn’t get stretch marks during my pregnancies, and I wasn’t even moisturizing myself like a maniac.”
On how she’s raising her family: “I’m quite energetic, and I also have sweet children who don’t care that I just had another kid. They want to be into things and be loved and go in Ma’s bed when they get up early in the morning. So I’m always juggling the family and life with my husband.”

Chelsea Handler will be on the cover of Shape magazine April 2010. The video and pictures below show the amazingly toned talk show host in a girly two-piece posing for her shoot. You get a sneak preview of her cover, and inside the mag..

Handler will, of course, be airbrushed beyond recognition. And that’ll totally take away from the fact that she looks great anyways. You may like to know that, yes, Handler looks perfectly fine even before the magazine’s Photoshoppers vomit rainbow, glitter, and their shattered childhood dreams, all over her photos.

Sam Worthington Details Magazine April 2010

Sam Worthington is on the cover of Details magazine, April 2010.

The Australian actor doesn’t do this kind of photo shoot all that often. Perhaps, in part, because he has only just landed on the radar of the magazines’ US readerships. Worthington has lucked into some of the, and the, highest grossing movie(s) of all time. He played the lead in James Cameron’s Thunder Smurf-homage, Avatar; he was also a pivotal role in Terminator Salvation, a movie in which he struggled to pick an accent; he is now in forthcoming movie remake, Clash of the Titans. To be clear, Clash of the Titans doesn’t want or need to be re-made. So I have a stick up my ass about that project from the get-go.

Worthington is a pretty, but decidedly mediocre, presence on-screen. I think some studio big-wig has him pegged as the next big thing, and won’t stop until we all concur. But Worthington would do well to avoid further films that expose gaps in his acting chops/ interviews that expose his inability to sell a movie.

The former bricklayer sees acting as just another job: “Get up in the morning, go to work, make the boss happy.”
In a moment of dissatisfied epiphany, Worthington auctioned off everything in his apartment: “My mates came around, saying, ‘How much for the kettle?’” he recalls. “I said ‘Five bucks. Starting at five. Do I hear six? Six? Sold, for five bucks!’”
Why he finds interviews, and reading “the stupid things I say”, excruciating: “I’m still a very boisterous young man. And I swear a bit more than I should. So I’m learning to temper it.”
His “fairy godmother,” James Cameron adds: “He’s driven to personal excellence as he defines it, not as everyone else defines it. He doesn’t make the distinctions that other actors make, as in, ‘I’ll do this one for the money, then this little indie movie for the art.’ Sam does them all for the art. That’s a very distinct difference between him and other actors.”

Shia LaBeouf is on the cover of the April 2010 issue of GQ magazine.

Goodness knows why the toddler is on the cover of Gentlemen’s Quarterly.

He’s technically a man. Sure. But he always just looks like a foetus with a beard, every time I see him. He’s going to end up an actor like Matt Damon, or perhaps a Tom Cruise, where he never really ages. He may go grey, and maybe he’ll even lose his hair. But he’ll still look like an under-developed man-child.

On the Wall Street trading floors where he went to learn the banking ropes: “I thought my life was pretty wild. I’m Richie Rich. I land in New York, secretly thinking I’m like the coolest guy in the world. I’ve been on the cover of GQ! But then I met these guys, and it’s humbling. It’s the most sex-drugs-and-rock-’n’-roll atmosphere that exists on the planet. I was hanging out with some wild human beings.”
On getting past the stereotypes of Wall Street traders: “It’s easy to villainize these guys with the big paychecks,” he says. “But they’re not all bad. I’m a pretty left-wing character, and I come from whatever collar is lower than blue. But meeting these guys really opened my mind a lot. I’ve never seen people with more drive and determination in my life.”
On his relationship with co-star and girlfriend Carey Mulligan: “I never really had anything in my life that was off-limits,” he says, visibly trying to control his natural inclination to share, to think out loud, to let his voice run free. “But with this, just out of respect, I just don’t want to f-ck around. She’s an unbelievably thought-provoking actress, the most talented actress I’ve ever met in my life, by leaps and bounds. Neither one of us are fame whores. It works out. It’s not like we’re the premiere couple; we’re not the red-carpet king and queen.”
On his widely-publicized car crash: “I’d be watching the news, and they’d play my car crash, and every once in a while Kim Kardashian’s sister would jump on TV and preach to me from the red carpet about how to live my f-cking life. And I’m so upset, man. I’m so angry. Because this accident was not caused by me. I got hit. I had a green. This f-cker ran a red light. And he flipped my truck, and he shoveled it on my hand. And my fingers are in the street… they’re off, they’re under the truck door, man. This is fake, dude,” he says, lifting his newly reconstructed hand. “This is hip bone and the skin that was left over…”
On his newfound hobby, trading: “I trade in my boxers now. I’m up early for the markets. I’m real-time all day long.” He loves the game and the thrill and the nerves of the market; and the market, it seems, loves him right back. As of the morning of our lunch, Shia says his online Schwab Active Trading account had grown to close to $450,000.
On working with Oliver Stone: “He is a doctor of human manipulation,” Shia says of Oliver Stone. He means it as a compliment. “One of the first things you do with Oliver,” Shia says, “is you start talking about your personal life. You give it all to him at the beginning, and then he has these strings with which he can fuck with you. He regurgitates this stuff at inopportune moments. He will just come up and whisper a phrase in your ear, sing a song, mention something about your dad, and—pow!—it puts you in a different world.”
On his co-star Michael Douglas, whose son was recently arrested for trafficking cocaine and crystal meth and faces a long prison term: “Michael Douglas was an open wound on the set,” Shia says. “That dude is in pain. He was emotional putty on the set. A struggling man. We filmed a struggling man.”…Stone and Douglas wrestled all the time on-set, says Shia. “That is their process. They f-cking go at it like rams, all day long, every day. They know that they feed off each other in a way that they don’t get with anybody else, but they hated each other.”
On being manipulated by Oliver Stone: “We’d be on the street, and Oliver would just say, ‘Go to that bar, get f-cked-up, and come back.’ I’d walk over, get smashed, and go back to work. He would really f-ck with me when I was smashed. I get aggressive when I’m smashed, and he’d film that. He would just open you up completely, make you f-cking naked-and then call, ‘Action.’”

Kara DioGuardi Must Live a Very Empty Life

American Idol’s Kara DioGuardi speaks to the April 2010 issue of Women’s Health magazine. The 38-year-old talent show judge stars on the cover and explains how her stunt on last season’s finale, when she stripped down to a bikini and sang with Bikini Girl (real name Katrina Darrell), changed her life.

“It probably saved my job. It was a defining moment. Like, ‘She’s serious and industry, but also as kooky as everyone else on this panel.’ I mean, what crazy nut is gonna go out there in a bikini at almost 40 years of age against a girl who is 20 and probably cosmetically enhanced? I looked a little pasty. But hey, at least I didn’t wet myself!” [People]

So, she’s saying that flashing her well-aged goodies changed her career. After the stunt the women’s lifestyle/ men’s magazine offers started to come in. Indecent exposure in front of large crowds of people, on TV, can change your life for the better. How could I exploit this new knowledge to my own ends… hmm…

I am aware that as I am writing/ publishing this, legions of mothers around the world are getting their Weapons Grade Ghetto on and kicking some serious ass. So, as I inform you that Gisele Bundchen seems to be showing off about only gaining 30-pounds of baby-related weight, finding it super easy to shake it off afterward, I would like to publicly denounce any rioting. I also take no blame for any murders that take place in my name. That said, I’m child-free, and I feel like I need to jump up and high kick this chick in her (perfect) face, for the things she says about her experiences of being pregnant. Could her birth have been anymore annoyingly perfect? She is the star of Vogue’s cover, photo shoot, behind-the-scenes video, and enormously long interview; all are below.

Bundchen opens up about gaining so little baby weight, staying in shape during her pregnancy, birth, where her son was born, and going back to work.

Benjamin [Brady], her son with husband Tom Brady, was born at their Boston penthouse last December, in warm water in a deep bathtub that overlooks the Charles River: “I wanted to experience the transformation,” Bundchen, 29, explains, squashing rumors that she gave birth at a Boston-area hospital.
A friend from Brazil served as a mid-wife, and both her mother and Brady, 31, were present. Through the birth, she says she meditated: “It was the most amazing experience of my life, feeling him come through my body,” she says. “And once he was born, I never felt so empowered as looking at him and thinking, Oh, my God, we did it together!”
Initially, she and Brady bickered over the baby’s name: “I wanted him to be called River because I wanted something always flowing, immortal,” she says. “My husband said, ‘There’s no way we’re going to call him River.’ But my father’s name is Reinoldo, so it’s a homage to him. And it’s like water.”
During her pregnancy, she says she “gained only 30 pounds”; it wasn’t hard to get her pre-baby body back, especially since she exercised regularly right up until she gave birth: “I did kung fu up until two weeks before Benjamin was born, and yoga three days a week,” she says.
Bundchen also says she was “mindful” about what she ate: “I think a lot of people get pregnant and decide they can turn into garbage disposals.”
While expecting, Bundchen says she purposely stayed out of the public eye: “I felt like my pregnancy was a sacred moment for me … I didn’t work apart from the contracts I have, and then I only let them use my face.”
Her reaction to going back to work, for an advertising client, shortly after the birth: “I got to the studio and I felt like I was E.T.. Whoa, what’s going on? Hair and makeup? I hadn’t looked at myself in a mirror for a month-and-a-half. I’d been in my house, in a cocoon with my kids, my husband, my dogs. Usually, as I walk through the door into that atmosphere, I already feel different. There’s a button that goes On and I’m On. And when I go On, there is almost no me; there is just a character who is doing all this. This time it wasn’t like that. I’ve been really inside with my husband and my baby, and everything is changed. But the client still deserves respect and professionalism, and I got a little bit concerned because I wasn’t feeling it. Makeup was done, hair was done, and I looked in the mirror and I still wasn’t seeing the person who’s a model. For the first time, I think I actually saw me, the inside, instead of the persona.”

Robert Pattinson is Not Confident with Women

I’m gonna go ahead and put it out there… I think this guy is full of crap. He could just be joking. Of course. Over and over and over again. In each of these interviews. For example, the interview he just did with Details magazine, where he joked about being allergic to vajay. Whatever. He’s at it again, and playing the pansy/ p*ssy-averse shy guy. I wish he would just give up and turn to peen, and give my blogger buddies and me a break from posting this crap.

On dating: “When it comes to the opposite sex, I’m not as fully confident as the guy I play. I don’t even remember the last time I asked someone out on a date, like, just went up to them and that’s the first thing I did. I’m much more self-conscious and not wanting to fail. So I tend to hold back.”
On unleashing his macho side: “I related to Tyler in that I wish I could have done things like he did when I had the opportunity. There is something quite satisfying about being a little bit more reckless and even fighting. It’s quite cathartic to just sort of randomly start hitting someone. It was fun kind of, letting all your rage go on the set. We had this big scene where I punch out some guys. It went fine and nobody was really hurt at all. But, at the end, I was like doing this thing where I was hitting myself in the arm, sort of pumping myself up. They cut it out of the movie, but I punched myself so hard that I was in a lot of pain for the rest of the shoot. It was the most stupid thing I’ve ever done.”
On feeling the pain before: “I got beaten up by a lot of people when I was younger. I was a bit of an idiot, but I always thought the assaults were unprovoked. It was after I first started acting and I liked to behave like an actor, or how I thought an actor was supposed to be, and that apparently provoked a lot of people into hitting me.”
On what he learned from Pierce Brosnan: “We went out to dinner in a restaurant full of all these guys who looked like bankers or brokers. They didn’t recognize me, but they recognized Pierce. And he said, ‘Notice those people looking over?’ I’m sitting there getting more and more self-conscious, even though I didn’t realize they weren’t looking at me. Suddenly, Pierce got up and introduced himself to everybody in the restaurant. At first I was like, ‘What are you doing? You’re like completely insane.’ But it worked. Everybody just relaxed and stopped staring and you could tell they were going to go home and say, ‘Pierce is such a nice guy.’”
On not having a problem with being compared to James Dean: “I think he was like the most influential person for young guys, especially actors, in the last 50 years. So yeah, I mean, I’m not ashamed to say I am very much influenced by him.”
Robert Pattinson defends Twilight films: On facing up to the pressure of the box office: “It’s like a kind of a monster thing. The more people think they know you, the more you’re identified with a certain kind of role. People always used to ask me about typecasting and I never had to really worry about it. You think people will judge you by your work. But the truth is, it’s about whether the film you’re in makes money or not. And if it’s not making money, they’re like, ‘Oh, he’s over.’”
On his ultimate goal: “You keep trying to make your name stand for something other than just like meaningless celebrity. It’s a difficult battle, but I think people like Johnny Depp have done that. He’s not judged by his public image, it’s just his acting that counts. To get to that place takes a lot of discipline and a lot of hiding.”

Jennifer Aniston & Gerard Butler W April 2010

Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler cover W magazine’s April 2010 issue.

The pair are on the cover, with Butler holding Aniston as she sits on his lap.

The Bounty Hunter movie co-stars, aged 41 and 40 (though Aniston is looking arguably younger than 41), were photographed by Steven Klein on a ranch about 45-minutes outside of Los Angeles in mid-January. He plays a cop, and she plays a foxy couture underwear-clad robber running away from the effort of putting on some clothes. There will be seven photographs in their 13-page-long spread.

According to Just Jared she wears an Alberta Ferretti silk chiffon dress, Carine Gilson Lingerie Couture’s silk bra and silk lace briefs, Stella McCartney garters and Lanvin shoes. The article and more photos from the spread will follow. For now, the only details from the W magazine shoot are from Aniston’s hair stylist.

Jen’s hair stylist, Chris McMillan, told the magazine he left her hair dirty for the shoot. “It just created a nice chunky texture,” he said. “The key to Jennifer’s hair is no matter what you do with it — straight, frizzy, dirty — it looks like it actually grows out of her head. She’s someone for whom her hair doesn’t wear her, she wears it.” [The Huffington Post]

Alexander Skarsgard in LA Times Magazine: Pics

Alexander Skarsgard, star of vampire-based True Blood, did a photo shoot for the latest issue of LA Times magazine. LA Times magazine isn’t something I would usually go out of my way to keep tabs on, but hot pretend vampires totally are. If they were shot for Milk-a-holic Monthly, I’d still totally post the pictures.

Well, enough of my milk-starved ramblings. Here is the black and white photo shoot, and interview of someone who may or may not be a vampire in real life.

On playing a vampire: What makes vampires a platform for good drama is they’re also lethal. Eric is an animal. He’s on that edge where you don’t know if he will turn and kill you in a second.
On being an outsider: I’m not a Hollywood actor. I am a social guy, but I’m not one of those actors who will show up to a shoot with 15 agents/ managers/ publicists. An entourage like that just makes me uncomfortable.
On handling fame: In order for me to stay sane, I try to mostly stay away from the fan sites, the blogs and the Twitterers.

Miley Cyrus, Liam Hemsworth are Totally Deep

Miley Cyrus and Pedo Bear posed up a storm for the April 2010 edition of Teen Vogue magazine. Where it is precisely, that is to say under which rock or in which ditch, Cyrus finds all these outstanding fellows with such young tastes in women is hard to fathom. She’s not as bad as the serial pedo-attracting Hayden Panettiere, but her relationships are pretty close by all accounts.

The Disney actress/ singer is the star of a photo shoot and an interview, for the upcoming issue. Cyrus poses with her beau, Liam Hemsworth, and gives a hilariously over-long interview. In the interview Cyrus talks about her first impression of Hemsworth, and how they are deeper than normal people. She’s too young for me to be making jokes about deep throat, or whatever. But you know, with all this talk of being deep or whatever, my mind totally went there.

Below is Miley Cyrus’ Teen Vogue interview, her full set of 12 photos, and behind-the-scenes video of her speaking alongside her boyfriend Liam Hemsworth.

Miley on her first impressions of [Liam Hemsworth]: “He’s really tall. I thought, Either I’m going to have to be in heels or standing on something for this entire movie! He definitely showed chivalry: I remember him opening the door for the director, and I was like, Wow.”
On how they’re deeper than normal people: “I think we’re both deeper than normal people — what they think and how they feel. He’s very grateful for what he has, but he doesn’t let it go to his head. I’m like that too.
On which Sex and the City 2 character does Miley relates to: “I know everyone says Carrie, but I love Kim Cattrall, so I’ll say Samantha. I want to be her because she’s the hottest, she’s funny and she has attitude.”
On Miley’s future in music: “The more I make music that doesn’t truly inspire me, the more I feel like I’m blending in with everyone else. So after this next album, I’m taking some time off.”
