Lily Allen Confesses Having Three Breakdowns

Lily Allen has a reoccurring case of the sads and we should all go over to her house with a packet of bonbons to lighten her mood. Aside from the RSI incurred from her incessant social media shenanigans, Allen has other problems on her mind. Real problems. Problems that Jelly Babies and a packet of lube of can’t fix.

The singer confessed to Q magazine that she had suffered from three breakdowns, all of which were this century. We can assume she’s being grand, and she just means this decade. This includes a myriad of personal problems.

Lily Allen told Q : “On a personal level, my miscarriage was a horrible moment. And then there were the several breakdowns that I had. I’d say I’ve had three this century, which isn’t great.
She gives more detail: “There was one when I was 18 and I went into The Priory rehab clinic. I’ve had two really low points since then. I’ve got a touch of dysmorphia. I was sitting in bed last night and I caught sight of myself in the mirror. I said, ‘God, I’m a funny looking thing’.”

Lily Allen Blasts Freeloading Music Fans

Lily Allen, 24, has lashed out at music fans who opt to snag illegal downloads rather than springing for legal tracks.

She tells Britain’s NME magazine: “If what the consumer wants is good music, then they are going to have to start paying for it. The music industry is run by a bunch of f**king idiots and if you’re giving those people less money they are going to invest in bands that aren’t very good. The more money there is in the industry, the more they are going to have to invest in quality bands.

“There are people really struggling to make their way, they’re getting dropped much quicker, not being given the opportunity to make second albums. The only people responsible are those who are downloading music illegally, because there is no money going towards the bands anymore.” (via Contact Music)

Seems the UK singer has, for once, put her Crackberry down for long enough to form one whole thought. She did a pretty good job for her first try. After all, it takes more effort to come out with this rather succinct (for her) comment than spew watered down vitriol over her celebrity friends on Twitter.

In this comment, one can assume that Allen is talking crap about me and all my ghetto peers who oftentimes listen to the grainy unofficial version of a track or even an early leak, before deciding to make a purchase. Music is expensive as a mother effer if you have as broad a taste in music as some people, and so it makes sense to basically take the tracks for a test drive to see if you like them first. You can do it with cars to see if you likes them and I does the same wif condoms to make sure they aren’t one of the many brands that make me itch in my no no places. Some people do take their cheapness to the next level and don’t even buy the song, but some of us will later purchase the track anyway.

Lily Allen Carried Out Of Meet & Greet

Lily Allen was meant to greet her fans, after a performance in Salt Lake City, Utah. The event was supposed to be a VIP meet-and-greet. Unfortunately for those in attendance, Allen didn’t quite make it to the end of the night, before she pulled a Wino and allegedly got shit-faced drunk. She was said to be on the sauce all night and got so wasted that her security guard had to carry her out.

A witness said, ”The guard later came back to let the guests waiting know that she was not feeling well and would not be returning. Lily was curled up in his arms, head on his shoulder and feet dangling.”

The same guard then had to tell her fans to get to steppin’, as Allen was no longer available to carry out her duties. (It should be noted that some reports claim she was ill… but then, they would). A rep for Allen had no comment, when contacted by OK magazine.

Lily Allen Says She Is Broke

Lily Allen says she is struggling financially and has started to sell personal items to make ends meet.

Lucky for her she only has to sell a few of her fancy pants wares. For example she has been forced to sell her BMW 320 convertible to raise some cash… which to me is like saying you had to sell your tiara collection cos you were too broke to keep up the habit, but whatever.

Allen explains, ”I’ve been hit big time by the credit crunch. Actually, I just had to sell my car because I’m so broke. I bought a car last year and that was probably my biggest extravagance. Clothes too, I’m always buying clothes.”

“I’m completely skint,” she added. “I can’t even spend on credit cards. I mean, I won’t be, as I’m waiting until I get the royalties from the album and all the radio plays but that takes about a year. The banks will usually front your money in that kind of situation but they are not lending at the moment so it’s a tricky time.”

Lily Allen & Lindsay Lohan May Record Together

According to reports, British singer Lily Allen may be recording new music with her BFF, US leggings wearer and compulsive blogger, Lindsay Lohan.

“They’ve discussed making a record together, possibly at a pre-arranged studio, while they’re away on holiday,” a source told The Sun.

“They have been getting on really well and they’re planning a summer escape, along with Lindsay’s girlfriend Samantha Ronson. They’ve discussed the Bahamas, and are also planning a trip to the Coachella Music Festival in April to see Amy Winehouse perform.”

Here are some of the 23-year-old British singer’s interview highlights:

On the style of her new music and how it has changed: ”I did a retro thing last time,” Allen says. “And since I did that, a lot of other people did it too. I wanted to separate myself from the group and move forward. People think I’ve intentionally done something more serious but I haven’t.”

On her celebrity status: “I’m still the same person,” she says after a lengthy pause. “But life has certainly changed.”

On the turmoil at her label while her music was being recorded: ”The label wasn’t in a place where I felt comfortable,” she says. “People were still getting laid off and I didn’t want my album worked on in an environment where people aren’t happy. I wanted everyone to feel a bit more . . . stable.”

On her reputation as an artist and being taken seriously: “The idea that people might think I’m a bit of a joke worries me,” she says. “That’s why I’ve worked so hard on making this record. I don’t think it proves anything to anyone else, but it proves to me what I’m capable of.”

Lily Allen Does Not Accept Katy Perry’s Apology

I’m kind of too scared to say this, in case she starts Facebook stalking me or sommat, but Lily Allen has struck another online blow at Katy Perry - saying that she has Perry’s phone number and may publish it online [Website – Amy Grindhouse].

Allen is one of my favourite musicians of the moment, as she is one of only a small handful of pop strumpets that can actually sing. However, talent or no, this is some of the most retarded behaviour I have seen in a long while. Who in their right mind, over the age of about 12, makes threats to expose people using social media? This is the kind of crap I would expect to see on BH 90210 v2.0, not from a grown woman!

As you may remember, the pair of singing boobs have been proverbially poking each other in the eye, since late last year, when Perry jokingly said that she is a “skinny version” of Lily. The British songstress hit straight back, saying Perry had ripped off of her style, doesn’t write her own songs and that she’s “crass”.

She’s not far wrong there. Perry is singing pair of double-D’s who until recently had a matching D-List boyfriend. The only thing that makes her vaguely interesting is her dress sense and she only plays that for sh*ts and giggles. I guess someone once told her dressing as a watermelon was a suitable substitute for a personality?

Allen clearly didn’t get a sense of humour for Christmas, as she is REFUSING to let the feud die. She says that she has Perry’s number and that she is itching like Parasite Hilton’s panty puddin’ filled crotch to use it…

“I have Katy Perry’s number, someone did me a favour,” she wrote, according to Britain’s Sun.co.uk.

“I’m just waiting for her to open her mouth one more time then it hits Facebook.”

What The FUG Is Lily Allen Wearing?

Lily Allen can be seen above wearing the part see-through dress she chose for attending a business meeting, earlier today [Website – Amy Grindhouse].

Allen wore the Armand Basi black wool dress with a sheer panel, Chanel sunglasses, black leather gloves, a red Chanel hangbag and YSL high heel shoes.

I dress like that for meetings too. The more obvious the outfit you wear, the more likely the meeting will go your way (at least that’s what they taught me at business school).

Would you wear a dress with your chichi’s showing, if you were going to a business lunch, at a posh restaurant around Marylebone, London?

Lily Allen Blogging About ‘Womanizer’ Leak

Lily Allen is in hot water with her record company, EMI, after recording and making available a cover-version of ‘Womanizer’ by Britney Spears - and all because Mark Ronson made a HQ copy available when he played the song on his radio show [Website – Amy Grindhouse].

Fans did what modern fans always do, give copyright law a good hard seeing to – and ripping their own copies of the track and making it available on sites like YouPoop.

Seems that both the British songstress and her record label are pissed about the issue. Allen took to her celebrity MySpace blog to explain how the song ended up being distributed without proper permission.

“Now, some of you may be wondering why I covered ‘Womanizer’ - simple really, I love Britney and I love the song.”

“It wasn’t my intention for it to have whizzed round the world like it has,” added Allen. “Mark Ronson asked me for something no one had heard to play on his radio show, and‘Womanizer’ was the only song I had as an attachment on my Blackberry, and I couldn’t get home to send him anything else in time.”

However, fans took the opportunity to get their hands on the exclusive track.

“I had asked him to talk all over it so it wouldn’t get ripped, but he didn’t,” explained the singer. “Thanks Mark - for getting me in serious trouble with my record company.”
