Lady GaGa, real name Stefani Germanotta, was a music student at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, but didn’t graduate as she took up other opportunities.

The unique brand of crazy-ass that sees sparks shooting out of her chesticles during her stage shows isn’t something anyone can teach in school. Good for her not spending time school, and instead setting light to her titties.

Lady GaGa has released the long-awaited Bad Romance music video in full.

Lady GaGa hit up radio stations with Bad Romance back in mid-October and the song has been getting a lot of love in forums from her hardcore stands.

The preview of the music video was released this weekend and that too was met with a positive reaction. In my opinion the song is still a grower and I’m yet to find the strength to listen to it the whole way through. Don’t mind me though, I don’t even watch things I like all the way through. Feel free to chime in on whether you feel the Bad Romance video is a hit or a miss.

Lady GaGa hasn’t disappointed and has delivered a video that matches the somewhat over the top and really rather unlikable single, Bad Romance.

Perhaps the video and the plasters over her nipples are both growers. I won’t say the music video is a right-off, but it’s not my cup of tea. Perhaps the full video will be more engaging and less of a poke in the eye.

The singer and style icon wore this unusual get-up as she arrived at the ACE Style Awards. She was in attendance as she was nominated for being fashion weird ass of the year. Okay, not so much with the weird ass part, but her time spent wearing all kinds of fashion oddities has gotten her noticed.

She actually won an award for her contribution to style this year. To be fair, no one in the charts has done more to push the boundaries of what people will allow you to wear in public before they call the men in white coats. Thanks to Lady GaGa you can now wear a hair bow, or hair hat, or lace bunny ears, or a lace mask covering your whole face, and no one would even bat an eyelid.

Lady GaGa has had quite a year. Okay, so she spent most of the year fending off rumours that she had a little GaGa either stuffed down her pants or kept under the kitchen sink or something, but overall it’s been a great year. She started out the year as someone whom a lot of regular readers would not have known from a hole in the ground. She ends her 2009 as someone inescapable and a much-copied style icon.

Lady GaGa spoke to Flare magazine about the Monster Ball tour and fashion.

• Lady GaGa to Flare on training for the Monster Ball: “I’ve been training for two hours a day to get ready for this. I sing on the treadmill! I do cardio and weights on top of my rehearsals. I want to get my whole body in prime condition so I can carry the show.”
• Lady GaGa to Flare on what the world of la mode did for her: “Fashion saved my life. It was complete liberation… it made me feel powerful, ambitious and much more resilient.”

Lady GaGa has shared juicy details with Rolling Stone about her upcoming tour, The Monster Ball.

The singer, real name Stefani Germanotta, had her joint tour with Kanye West cancelled two weeks ago. That hasn’t stopped the ambitious star from planning a new tour, which will be a multimedia artistic experience.

What I understood from multimedia artistic experience, is a lot of big words that are a nicer way of saying the tour will be douche-bag free. No one will be running up on stage during performances saying they’ll let her finish, as soon as the world knows that such-and-such is the better performer.

Actually, who am I kidding, the tour would have been all the better with Kanye West’s douchery. Watching douches bounce around, and drown in their own egos on stage, is worth an over-priced ticket. I’d rather that, than actually just listening to music. I can do that in my damn bedroom.

• Lady GaGa to Rolling Stone on finally having the resources to stage her dream tour: No, I couldn’t [do a tour to this extent before], but there was one major ingredient that was missing, and that’s my fans. Now, I have the inspiration of my fans, and I know what they want. I think there’s a lot of artists that are very self-serving, but I’m not one of them. When I create and make music, I make music that my fans want to hear.
• Lady GaGa to Rolling Stone on elements of the Fame Kills Tour with Kanye West that were going to be in The Monster Ball: I’m certainly inspired by what we were doing, but I made a decision based on integrity not to use any of the things that we had designed together.
• Lady GaGa to Rolling Stone on planning the shows fashion: The fashion, certainly, is going to be another exploration and another level from where we were with the Fame Ball. The theme of monsters is certainly going to be an influence, as well as the theme of evolution and change. It’s going to be a truly artistic experience that is going to take the form of the greatest post-apocalyptic house party that you’ve ever been to.

Lady GaGa premiered her new single, Bad Romance, on UK radio station, BBC Radio 1. The station hasn’t got anything on the sweaty tweenagers who leaked a grainy edit of the song over the weekend, but it’s better late than never.

The track was part-premiered when Lady GaGa appeared alongside Madonna on SNL two weeks ago. The singer performed a medley of songs, including a portion of this track. Perhaps it was because all of the bells and whistles were missing, but that performance of the song did nothing for me. This edit is a little better, but not really my cup of tea. Her newly-formed stans will be rocking out to it’s electro beats no doubt. So maybe it’s just me.

Lady GaGa, real name Stefani Germanotta, was once on hidden camera show Boiling Points on MTV. The lost 2005 footage has resurfaced, showing Lady GaGa at around age 19 and you can check it out above.

While I don’t remember this episode, I do remember the show. The point of the show was to capture people’s real reactions to stressful situations and if they kept their cool, they’d win $100. So, there you have it, Lady GaGa without her head-to-toe couture. She was a rather cute, but plain, brunette teenage girl.

Lady GaGa is set to appear on an episode of Gossip Girl, according to the New York Daily News, via Hollyscoop. The native New Yorker is set to have a guest-role on the NY-based show, which moves mainly to a college setting for the second season. GaGa will be playing herself and she will be performing as well.

This follows news that Tyra Banks will also feature as a guest and that certain characters on the show will have a racy threesome.

The much-hyped Fame Kills tour, which was set to be a joint effort between Kanye West and Lady GaGa, has officially been cancelled.

Live Nation, the tour promoter, today announced that the tour was officially dead in the water, much to the disappointment of excited fans. No official reason has yet been given as to why. However, the backlash over West at the VMAs and his legal woes won’t have helped. Fans can get their tickets refunded automatically if they were purchased online or over the phone. Tickets bought other ways will need to be refunded at the point of purchase.

This was set to be one of the most mind-melting, controversial, and exciting tours in a long time. It was going to have all the arty-farty pomp and circumstance we have come to expect from Lady GaGa, plus the stunning visuals we’re used to from Kanye West after his Glow in the Dark tour. I can’t believe that I have to miss out on blogging about this. It was going to be super fun getting to share with everyone that West ran onstage during GaGa’s portion of the show to say that she deserved not to be onstage because, in his opinion, such-and-such an artist is actually more talented.

I’m going to go and drown my sorrows in some over-sugared Kool-Aid, and then I shall have a lukewarm Pot Noodle.You’ll have to do without me for a few hours.
