Kanye West Monster Music Video Leaked Online

The video for Monster by Kanye West has leaked. I would usually overlook this, or at least wait until the same was posted to West’s VEVO (which it wasn’t at the time of posting), but I’ve SO been looking forward to this. West’s My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy is one of the few albums I’ve bought and listened to in full this year (along with Eminem, Nicki Minaj, Jay-Z, Tinie Tempah, Janelle Monae, and a few others). It’s honestly some of his best work and Monster, a track which I found by accident after someone posted it to a Gawker.com comment section, is one of its standout tracks. I saw the preview, and to be honest this is nearly six minutes of the same. So, you’re not missing anything by skipping this. It’s dead/ half-dead models and body parts. And a girl stuffed clumsily under some sofa cushions while Jay-Z raps. And Minaj’s ill-fitting weave (the one with no bangs). It’s a good watch and something I’m giving a second viewing when I’m done posting this. I get the feeling it’s pleasant enough to watch through but really gains its impact the more you watch. I’ll leave this to you (note its YouTube poster claims it’s not a finished version). Watch the near six-minute music video for Monster, by Kanye West, featuring Rick Ross, Jay-Z, Nicki Minaj and Bon Iver. Once a higher quality version drops, the below will be replaced.

Watch Kanye West The Today Show Interview

Kanye West’s The Today Show interview with Matt Lauer aired this morning. This is the interview during which he empathises with and apologises to former president George Bush, for remarks calling him racist. ‘As far as it being the worst moment of his presidency, I can’t really speak to that. [However] his take, his explanation, I completely agree with. And I empathize. You know in your heart as a person that to, in a moment of emotion, peg someone or to call a name or peg someone as a racist is just not right.’ It’s also the same Today Show interview that West rage-tweeted about yesterday afternoon, complaining that his answers were partly coerced by Lauer and that the interview was generally unfair to him. He used 75% of his monthly caps and exclamation marks quotas to state that he walked away unhappy about the experience. Lauer had a clip from 2009′s MTV VMAs playing in the background while West was trying to talk on the pre-recorded interview, recorded Tuesday for airing Thursday. A method that Lauer explained, after the fact, he uses all the time (as in, West wasn’t singled out/ made an example of). West’s reaction? ‘Yo, how am I supposed to talk if you’re gonna run this thing in the middle of my talking?’ Lauer explained, ‘It’s under, you won’t be hearing it.’ West said he could hear it, suggesting it was distracting and annoying. Lauer requested the audio be turned right down. To which West replied, ‘Please don’t let that happen again.’ West will appear on Today for a live performance on the Plaza on November 26.

Kanye West Twitter Rant Against Matt Lauer

Kanye West has been given a reason to complain, and access to a mobile device with CAPS . WATCH OUT. West is unhappy about his recent experience on The Today Show. The rapper, 33, belatedly apologised for his anti-Bush Katrina on-air rant. In which he proclaimed, matter-of-factly, ‘George Bush does not care about Black people’. A statement to which on-air co-star Mike Myers reacted with wide-eyed horror. Despite being given a non-Twitter method of speaking out, West has gone back to what he knows: cursing the sky and the names of Today and Matt Lauer. Below is his long and nonsensical Twitter rant. With caps. And too many exclamation marks. Basically, he’s saying that Lauer tried to coerce certain responses. AND NO ONE COERCES ANSWERS OUT OF KANYE WEST!!!!!!

Kanye West Performs Songs on Plane Intercom

Kanye West performs Gold Digger & The Good Life, on a plane intercom system.

Kanye West has a recently-finished poorly-titled album to promote, and it’s not going to sell itself. Moreover, near 40-minute-long music videos don’t pay for themselves. On a Delta flight from Minneapolis to New York, West began an impropmtu mini-concert for fellow passengers. Taking over the speaker system, in a manner you would think would get him shot (but for the fact he asked first), he did PG-rated versions of Gold Digger and The Good Life. Because you don’t get free versions of his forthcoming tracks without bootlegging them first.

Kanye West Twitter Picture of Finished Album

It has only been hours since supposed uncensored photos of Kanye West’s junk hit the ‘net. So he has to distract us. The rapper, who’s getting ready to release a new album, neglected to tweet a picture of his balls. Instead, he shared on his Twitter a picture of his album. Above, if you click and then once again to view in full size, is My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy in its finished form. You can also see, in the full size version, the album’s tracklisting. On the disc itself, you can see the 13 chosen tracks in order. As well as a sticker on the case warning that it’s watermarked to trace its owner. Marked as ‘Explicit’ and ‘Revised’, this does explain why most of his album leaked and was posted online a few days ago.

Kanye West’s Runaway Videos Premiere Online

Kanye West has premiered his self-directed mini-movie, Runaway. The rapper held screenings for select guests, following a preview of the feature at the end of September. Runaway made its debut, online and in broadcast media, last night.

The 35-minute-long film, which told the tale of a fallen phoenix, aired on MTV and BET at 8PM ET and was streamed on each channel’s respective website. As well as VH1.com. The shorter version, 8-minutes-long, also shown below, offered more of the same from Saturday Night Live October 2, 2010 when he was the musical guest; West performed Runaway and Power with dancers on a white background. I’ve not yet had time to do much more than skim these, so forgive the lack of commentary on the content itself. I’m guessing I’m far too sober to be watching this for the 43 minutes it would take to view both clips. The first clip below is the full Runaway music video from West’s VEVO on YouTube. It should be watchable in all countries; I can see it in the UK. The second clip below, for those who don’t have Kanye-time ™ or the whole afternoon scheduled off especially for the occasion, can numb their brains for only 8 minutes instead…
