Jennifer Love Hewitt: US Weekly Mid August 2008 Hypocritical Cover Girl

Jennifer Love Hewitt is still under the impression that anybody cares about her weight [Website – Amy Grindhouse].

She went-a-belly-aching to US Weekly and did a cover, showing off how tiny she is… when she was kinda tiny anyway.

After a public beating for ‘being fat‘, Hewitt hit back with the retort ‘size two is not fat!‘. However, she has clearly made the decision that it would be a great idea to publicise her own hypocrisy, by slimming down drastically and then being featured in a magazine.

According to DListed:

JLove told the magazine, “I am in a pretty good workout regimen that I like, so it inspired me to keep it up. The energy level and the way I feel now is great.” She claims she only lost the weight because she wanted to feel better and not because of the mean things people said about her.

MollyGood pipes in with:

The actress claims she lost 18 pounds, but we have a hard time believing that.

Britney & Her Sons: OK Magazine Mid August 2008 Cover & Interview

Britney Spears can be seen in the cover above as a slightly bleary eyed OK Magazine cover girl [Website – Amy Grindhouse].

Spears is shown on the cover all in white, with both her children, Sean Preston and Jayden James Federline, who sport the same colour.

I have nothing much to say about this horrid cover. Not the art direction, not the poses… Nada… Nothing. Not me, mate… I’m not going to mention that she didn’t brush her hair for the shoot and I am also not going to mention the flippin’ ‘pimp’ hats the kids are wearing *pats self on back*.

Click over to Breath Heavy here and here, or see the snippets below:

On not wanting her sons, Jayden and Preston, to pursue a career in the entertainment business: “I’d rather not. But but I’d love them unconditionally if they wanted to. I’d just as soon they have a more normal childhood.”

On younger sister Jamie Lynn’s recent pregnancy: “I was shocked a little bit. She’s always been the baby, and now the baby was having a baby. It was mind-boggling.”

On wanting her boys to be close to her newborn niece: “I’m sure the boys will be like big brothers to Maddie.”

On her new album hitting stores in six to nine months: “I think it is more urban. I’m writing every day, right here at the piano in this living room… This is my best work ever.”

Her father, Jamie Spears, was also present during the interviewing, sharing how Britney is capable of being manipulative to get her way: “It’s wonderful. (The relationship) is new for both of us. She sometimes calls me 50 times a day and asks me things that light my life up. But like all daughters, she is very manipulative and cunning. So she gets what she wants a lot… God has a way of taking something bad and turning it into something good. If this hadn’t happened, I would never have been able to get back with my daughter and have this relationship I have with these two little boys.”

James Franco: GQ September 2008 Pic & Interview

James Franco, 30, can be seen above as featured in GQ Magazine [Website – Amy Grindhouse].

The former ‘Spiderman’ star covered the mag and also gave a long-arse interview to promote his latest comedy, ‘Pineapple Express’, which is out in theaters now.

I don’t hate myself or you enough to type out the whole interview… or even to copy and paste the who thing for that matter. Those who care can click to read the whole thing here. Otherwise look at the pretty picture and see the interview snippets below (P.S. his first quote is an EPIC Lol!).

On making a few bad films: “I wanted to be the best actor that I could be. It’s just sad for me, because I know I worked so hard, and I just feel like in some way I kind of blew it. It’s just hard to get away from what I see as the stain of these bad movies.”

On not getting along with the cast of Freaks & Geeks: “I’ll admit I was not a team player. A lot of it, I think, just had to do with being obnoxious when the camera was on someone else. Maybe I’d eat a banana in the background that would take focus away from other actors. I didn’t think about it that way, but now I could say, ‘Look, the scene’s not about me, it’s about them, just chill out, James. Don’t eat a f—-ing banana.’ ”

On kissing costar Sean Penn in the movie Milk: “The first kiss of the movie was out on Haight Street, with, like, 200 people watching, outside. I’m sure in the end it will be a really cool shot, but it starts close and then it takes maybe a minute. That’s a long time on film with everybody watching, and, like, a fake moustache getting in your mouth. It was long enough that you couldn’t help but thinking, ‘Oh, my God, I’m kissing Spicoli.’”

Russell Brand Talks About VMA No Swearing Rule

British comic Russell Brand gave the following sound bite about hosting the MTV VMA Awards next month [Website – Amy Grindhouse].

“I’ve been warned when I’m presenting there are two things I am never allowed to say. One – c*nt. And two – Scientology. There is one sentence that could join both of those words but I’m going to try and not say it. I have a problem when people tell me not to do something. When I was going to meet the Queen the protocol people told me how to bow, not to curtsy, not to speak until I was spoken to. But all I could think of was, ‘Grab her t*t’!”

I also have a sound bite that I would like to add as a ‘Stupid Quote of The Day’:

I’ve been warned not to get too ridiculous, live-blogging all the stupid things that happen at the VMA’s. With colourful (but sadly not especially funny) comic Russell Brand at the helm, the show will blow people’s socks off. I can smell the controversy a mile away. As a Brit, you get to say and do things over here that would never fly on American TV. Ooooh, I can see the fur flying already, as Brand ruffles the feathers of my American cousins on live T.V. with poo jokes and skits about Scientology.

Kate Hudson’s W Cover Is Photoshopped As F*ck

Kate Hudson can be seen above, as a Photoshopped as f*ck W Magazine cover girl [Website – Amy Grindhouse].

This woman is a hot biotch ‘n’ all, but holy hell, I wouldn’t even have known it was her if the caption weren’t there.

The image is fierce and memorable… but really, is there any need for the war paint and the crimes against Photoshop?

Miley Cyrus Has Nothing Better To Worry About Than Her Chin…

Usually scantily-clad pop strumpet, Miley Cyrus, is none-to-happy with one of her facial features.

Cyrus is reportedly very insecure about her prominent chin, a characteristic that she inherited from her father, Billy Ray Cyrus.

Now, I don’t really find this girl very interesting, nor do I spend any length of time trailing her throughout the blogo-sphere… but I thought such a stupid, vacuous, insecurity deserved at least an honourable mention.

‘It’s a rough time for Miley,’ a Star Magazine informant explains. ‘Her dad says give it gives her character and jokes that if you’re going to be in the entertainment business, you better have a strong chin. But she doesn’t think it’s a laughing matter.’

‘She’s becoming a woman in front of millions..They may think she’s perfect, but she has insecurities just like any other 15-year-old girl’.
