Why Won’t You Let Zooey Deschanel Be Great?

In addition to looking the same in every photo, it’s becoming difficult to tell apart these interviews with Zooey Deschanel. Not least because every interviewer asks the 32-year-old why she won’t let her bangs be great and take up even more of her face (she’s like 50:50 bags to face right now). She’s attempted to cut her bangs before. But, like baby Claudia in Interview With A Vampire, the shorn hair grew back instantly. Or some other reason she pretty much never cuts or styles her hair. She said recently: ‘I’ve always felt like a brunette with bangs. I’ve grown [my bangs] out before, but I feel more comfortable with them. I sweep them sometimes for a little change of pace. They have their own personality!’

Adele Vogue UK Cover Bombed, Says Vogue UK

I can’t say I’m surprised that Adele’s British Vogue Magazine October 2011 cover didn’t sell. Although, I am a little surprised that this information comes from a named Vogue UK editor who’s happy to throw the cover under the bus because ‘music stars haven’t sold at all well.’ Editor Alexandra Shulman admitted during ToMax talks Fashion & Fantasy in London yesterday that Adele’s cover is one of the worst-sellers of all time. ‘Adele is the most popular woman in the world, but one of the worst sellers we’ve ever had,’ said Shulman. ‘I find there has to be a relationship with the person on the cover that goes beyond how they look. Our most successful cover was the millennium issue, which didn’t have anyone on it, but acted like a mirror so you could see your own reflection.’

Paying Chloë Sevigny To Have A Good Time

Chloë Sevigny will deign to attend your fashion show in exchange for a set number of souls of small children, or small bills if you don’t have any change. Oddly biting the hand that feeds, the actress-so-method-she’ll-smell-your-d**k-if-the-role-calls-for-it will sit in the front row like a good girl but she’s not going to smile for the cameras unless she’s being paid: ‘I don’t enjoy going to fashion shows. It’s very high school, it’s very ‘the most popular kids in the front row,’ and everybody’s checking everybody else out, and you have to do all this press and get your picture taken… It’s not fun for me; it’s work…I go occasionally to friends’ shows to support them. Or if I’m getting paid, if I’m going to be honest.’ She hates the thing she later admits is paying her bills: ‘It has been pretty lucrative for me, especially [because I've done] mostly independent films throughout my career [and have been] able to do some advertising on the side.’

January Jones Also Has Legs… Who Knew?

Here’s January Jones at the same event as Amber Heard because I only just saw these photos and, honestly, gratuitous leg needs its own post. Leaving her baby boy in the care of nannies/ wolves/ dolphins/ apes who know sign-language/ the help on the set of Mad Men, here’s Jones proving once again that the rules of preggo do not apply to beautiful people. 10 photos of her thigh-high slit, below.

Demi Moore Photoshopped Cosmetics Adverts

At least 20 of Demi Moore’s 49-years have been Photoshopped away and she’s posing as Dita Von Tesse in at least one of the adverts for the 2012 Helena Rubinstein beauty campaign. The adverts are completely successful, assuming the company’s products include a time-machine and an asleep-at-the-wheel digital artist to butcher your face beyond recognition so you too will have poreless Real Doll skin for your TOO CLOSE close-up. Have they gone TOO far?
