Ginnifer Goodwin announced her engagement on Christmas Eve, following her boyfriend’s proposal in early December. The Big Love actress will marry Joey Kern. After less than a month, Goodwin’s showing off her engagement ring for the second time. The first was at Nicole Richie’s Lucky magazine cover party, earlier this week. She showed the approximately two-and-a-half carat ring, designed by Kern, worth an estimated $40,000, again at Big Love’s season five premiere on Wednesday. They’re planning a Fall wedding. Goodwin, 32, and Kern, 34, have been dating for two years after being set up by a mutual friend.

Holly Madison doesn’t seem to like Crystal Harris. Colour me shocked. I may be reading too much in to this, but what I glean from the interview equivalent of a Twitter fap, Madison doesn’t think Harris is ‘good enough’ for fiance Hugh Hefner. I’m pretty sure somewhere in her paragraphs-long interview with Lies&Style, Madison says she’s ‘not jealous’, I think, but the sound of claws sharpening drowns that out a little. This is a pretty dramatic change of tone from Madison’s initial reaction. Which, if you’ll recall, was ‘Statements are hard.’ Now she’s adding, ‘Will someone fetch my nail file from betwixt Harris’ shoulder blades?’ The interview starts simply enough. ‘I’d like to see Hef settle down,’ Madison said during the exclusive interview on January 6. ‘I just want it to be with the right person, and I feel like he’s making a hasty decision. I’m not sure Crystal is the best thing for him.’ She adds, ‘[Harris is very mysterious], no one knows much about her. Plus, she’s very young, probably too young to settle down. I’ve seen a lot of girls try to date Hef, and some have ulterior motives. I don’t think it would be a bad idea for him to get to know her a little better. I think it’s possible Crystal could break Hef’s heart. They could end up divorcing, and she could take half his money.’ Madison finishes her saucer of milk and adds, ‘I’m not jealous that he’d marry someone else. I just don’t want it to be a girl who’s using him to start her career… I think he could do better than Crystal.’
