John Travolta Calls Gay Spa Story Defamatory

John Travolta sent a legal letter to Gawker.com, over claims that he spent the last decade-and-a-half blowing naked dudes in front of other naked dudes. I read the original post, entitled ‘The Secret Sex Life of John Travolta’, when it was published, and found it interesting. It was semi-convincing. The gist being that Travolta has been trawling for d**ks since the stone age, blowing whomever was impressed enough by his fame to allow casual oral to happen in front of witnesses. It’s apparently so common that Robert Randolph, author of the self-published book upon which the article was based, happened to witness numerous acts. Some of the comments on Gawker seemed to support the story, claiming Travolta had been up to the same in their neck of the woods/ seen romantically with other dudes and it was no secret. The story read to me like an entertaining piece of fan-fiction. Nothing more (just IMO). Randolph claims he knew of Travolta’s habits well enough to happen upon multiple instances of this activity and yet never caught one snap on camera/ got video etc. Sure, sure. Not once in 15 years; that he’s sharing. Travolta’s lawyers call BS on the claims for the same reasons. In a five-page legal letter, obtained by Gossip Cop, sent only hours before his wife gave birth, the letter blasts the Gawker post and its questionable source material. Travolta’s attorney, Marty Singer, calls out the site posting ‘false and outrageous’ stories that are ‘blatant defamatory lies’ from a ‘patently unreliable source.’ Also, his claims span ‘fifteen years, yet inexplicably, he has waited until now to peddle these phony tall tales.’ The idea that Travolta ‘engaged in multiple adulterous sexual encounters in different public locations in Los Angeles (where he does not live), and that each time, the (nonexistent) events were coincidentally witnessed by [Randolph], is absolutely ridiculous,’ argues Singer. Travolta is demanding the immediate and permanent removal of the post and ‘publication of an unequivocal and prominent retraction of the false and defamatory statements.’ Knowing Gawker, the retraction is unlikely. Though they have had to remove posts before; as with the recent Sarah Palin book leak, that got them taken to court for copyright infringement. They lost and had to remove excerpts that had been posted without permission before its release.

Capri Anderson Didn’t Whore Self on Website

Capri Anderson is denying claims that she went on her official website, following the Charlie Sheen incident, to promote herself as ‘the mysterious hotel girl.’

Anderson’s webmaster has spoken out, following criticism of the tacky piece of text added to the ClubCapriAnderson.com homepage; text that didn’t mention Sheen, but made it clear she was the particular whore you’d been Googling for. ‘Yes it’s me, the mysterious hotel girl that everyone is talking about,’ the message began. ‘There really is not much to say but I just want everyone to know [that] I’m fine. Please don’t believe everything you hear in the news and don’t forget if you like my website I would really really like it if you became a member, there is a lower monthly price right now’. Owner of the website, Kevin Noonan, says that a member of his team added the blurb to ’round up some extra sales and cash in.’ Noonan, who owns 15 other porn sites, also claims Anderson has no administrative access to the site at all. ‘Can you imagine what would happen if we gave [the models] access to their own websites day to day?’ This will be a small blow to the case filed by Sheen. His lawyers, Yale Galanter and Marty Singer, claimed the message supported their case and their claim that Anderson was ‘fine’ after supposedly being choked and locked in a closet.

Charlie Sheen Sues Capri Anderson for Extortion

Charlie Sheen is suing the other person in the room during his non coke-induced bender. You remember, the one during which he was neither drunk nor coked out of his mind, and he ended up trashing his hotel room, and a non-hooker ended up being locked in his hotel closet. A few hours earlier it was revealed that Anderson was with the NYPD filing a criminal complaint against Sheen. According to TMZ, she spoke to the NYPo Po at her lawyer’s office. In separate action relating to the same hotel-trashing, Sheen is suing for extortion. The action against Capri Anderson, real name Christina Walsh, claims she tried to extort Sheen out of $1 million. According to the lawsuit (PDF), filed today in L.A. County Superior Court, in the wake of The Plaza Hotel incident, Anderson demanded the money, in lieu of reporting to prosecutors in Aspen to get Sheen’s probation violated. For some reason Sheen’s logic seems flawed and his allegations ring a little hollow. Don’t know why. It just seems unlikely. The suit claims Capri also threatened ‘to embarrass him and attempt to damage his career by going to the media with her false tale,’ you know, the one about all the stupid things Sheen did on the bender. The suit goes on to clarify that Sheen did not batter Anderson, nor hold her against her will, and calls her ‘an opportunistic pornographic film star and publicity hungry scam-artist’, and calls Sheen ‘a total gentleman.’ Like I said, makes no sense and doesn’t ring true. Sheen is asking for unspecified damages, but nothing less than the $165,000 for his missing/ stolen Patek Philippe watch.

Courtney Love Sued Over Borrowed Jewellery

Courtney Love is being sued by Jacob & Co., over jewellery lent and not returned. My guess? She smoked/ attempted to eat the diamonds thinking they were another kind of rocks and then crack-tweeted about it while taking off all her clothes. The high-profile jewel company says they lent Love several items; $113,700-worth weren’t given back. So they’re suing for their return. The suit, filed on Monday, alleges that Love borrowed two white gold and diamond chains, a white gold floral-design mesh bracelet, and a pair of white gold and diamond pave hoop earrings on September 21. She has allegedly returned only the bracelet, despite demands for the remaining pieces. Love claims she lost the remaining goods. However, an agreement she signed holds her accountable ‘regardless of loss or damage’. The lawsuit seeks the goods or their value.

Russell Brand Cleared After Paparazzi Attack

It is being reported that Russell Brand will be let off the hook, after the alleged assault of a paparazzo. Brand was arrested after he allegedly attacked paparazzi at LAX airport in Los Angeles on September 17. Perry claimed, on Twitter, that even in the presence of her then-fiance a photographer stuck a camera up her dress in order to try to get an up-skirt photo. They failed and got a smack around the head instead. In defence of her now-husband, Perry tweeted, ‘If you cross the line & try an put a lens up my dress, [Brand] will do his job & protect me.’ After being held on $20,000 bail, Brand was released on his own recognizance. Thursday, Frank Mateljan of the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office told Gossip Cop that Brand was essentially off the hook; that he should call the police rather than being a vigilante the next time. ‘We don’t anticipate any further action on that matter,’ said Mateljan, who noted that when Brand came in Wednesday, the City Attorney’s Office ‘discussed the law’ with him as well as ‘future behavior.’

This follows similar reports, from mid-October, that Brand would be in the clear of any charges stemming from the attack, following this month’s hearing.

Carrie Prejean’s Lawyer Sues Shanna Moakler

Carrie Prejean’s lawyer is suing mad, and filing suit against multiple people. Charles LiMandri, Prejean’s lawyer, has filed a lawsuit against Miss California USA executives Keith Lewis and Shanna Moakler, and their lawyer. The three of them are accused of leaking details of Miss Biblically Correct’s adult tape; a tape that presumably shouldn’t exist, along with those posed topless photos. Remember them too? LiMandri’s lawsuit focusess on private mediation for the former Miss California’s ‘solo-stimulation’ tape, which she claims to regret; a tape for which we were treated to a million new and interestong ways of saying female masturbation, and for which Vivid had to be turned down multiple times.

LiMandri claims they leaked private information, despite agreeing that everything should be kept private. Proof? Outlets, in particular TMZ, knew very specific details. Including the part about Prejean’s mother watching some of the sex tape. Also, ‘moments after the settlement agreements were signed, TMZ posted a report that the parties had settled, and quoted the agreed upon joint statement.’ LiMandri is suing ecause those named agreed to pay for a portion of his legal fees, which he reduced in exchange for their silence. Since LiMandri believes they broke the deal he wants his full rate and punitive damages.
