Brittany Murphy’s Husband to Sue Warner Bros

I don’t usually report on things like this. But I make a point to post whenever I read a report and it makes me do this. Last Thursday it was reported that the husband of the late Brittany Murphy, Simon Monjack, appeared on The Today Show where he addressed allegations that his wife died of a drugs overdose. He went on to point the blame at Hollywood for the stress of not casting her in Happy Feet 2, as though it had anything to do with existing health issues. This made more than a few people scratch their heads. Now he is threatening to sue.

Several outlets report Monjack is to file a wrongful death lawsuit against Warner Brothers. His reasoning is so convoluted it’s impossible to know how this’ll go in court, but he says it’s their fault his wife passed away; he specifies their cancellation of her contract for a sequel to Happy Feet triggered a heart attack.

Amy Winehouse Pleads Guilty To Assault Charge

Amy Winehouse pleaded guilty today, to the charge of Bump-It and self tan overuse. Nah, I’m just playing. She actually pleaded guilty to smacking someone around the face. The incident happened during the Christmas period, at a pantomime performance, at a Berkshire playhouse. According to reports released only moments ago, Wino appeared in Milton Keynes Magistrates’ Court where she pleaded guilty to smacking a bish. Wino was probably in meth-withdrawal or something when she allegedly kicked the playhouse manager and pulled his hair.

His only sin was to reportedly ask her to shut the heck up, as she was annoying people with her heckling and potty mouth. The UK legal system being the ass that it is Wino’s only punishment is that she has to pay £100 compensation to the man she allegedly assaulted, as well as £85 in costs. She also has to resist the urge to smack another bish for two years, as part of her conditional discharge.

Britney Spears using Bodyguards’ Money to Shop

Britney Spears is being accused of using her peroxide-soaked brainsicle to work around her conservatorship. The lip syncer is being accused by TMZ of cheating her way around the legal smack-down. She is pretty much not allowed to scratch her own butt without asking someone’s permission first, so it’s not surprising that she is bored. She allegedly has a measly $1,500 per week to spend on her official credit card. Damn, she spends $1,500 on caffeine alone and avoids wasting money on things like soap, shampoo, bras, or a new non-drip weave.

According to shop staff, who sound a little too excited to rat her out, Spears has been using her bodyguards’ credit cards to buy shoes. When using their cards she signs her own name, possibly in crayon, and can do nothing but scratch her weave when the shop assistants point out she isn’t Jim Smith or whomever.

To be fair, the conservatorship is kind of stupid at this point. Let the girl go crazy again. See if we care. Some people want to self-destruct. Let them.

Lohan’s Driver May be Sued Over Car Accident

Lindsay Lohan was at the scene of a car accident on Sunday. The sometime actress and her aggressive driver must have either been tweeting at the wheel or doing a bunch of blow or something, but they were distracted enough to get in a nasty accident. The assistant/ driver, who is now a person of interest in a criminal assault with a deadly weapon investigation, was behind the wheel when it struck a paprazzo. The incident occured at 12:30 AM in front of Hotel Cafe in Hollywood. Lohan was not a suspect, as she was not at the wheel of her car at the time. The pap was taken to hospital as he injured his hand during the assault, and was treated by EMTs. Photos and video of what happened below.

Michael Lohan Leaks Video Of Ex Snorting Coke

Michael Lohan needs someone to insert a plug somewhere and fast, to stop all his damn leaks. The sometime father sprung a permenant leak, and released some more scandalous material to his butt-buddies at website Radar Online.

He must have run out of material to sell on his own daughter, Lindsay Lohan. This time he has turned his attentions to ex-girlfriend Erin Muller. Lohan sold a video in which Muller appears to be snorting white powder. He is claiming the footage is proof that she needs help for a drug problem. I have to be honest, in the bulk of the footage, you feel like you’re watching an asthmatic with a bad dye-job snorting powdered sugar. That is, we see a lot of the back of her head and the footage may not be as it seems. It’ll be interesting to see her reaction. We know the two are sue-happy, since they’re already suing each other.

Van Morrison Sues Newspaper Over Baby Claims

Van Morrison don’t need no steenkin’ babies, nor does he need the Mail on Sunday to spread rumours about him and his alleged relationship with Gigi Lee.

The Irish singer was the target of a hoax last week, one which duped several large media outlets. He was very quick to clarify that a posting on his website announcing that he was a father again, at 64-years-old, was nothing more than a malicious hacking. Despite the rumours being cleared up, the tardy bundles of fail at the Mail on Sunday published a story about the scandal anyway, January 3, 2010. The article claimed the married star and Lee did have a relationship.

Morrison took the opportunity to angrily sue the panties off them, and clarify once again for the hard-of-hearing that he is not the father of Lee’s child.
