There aren’t enough Emoji in the world to express the bad fee fees Harry Styles feels in his heart about Taylor Swift. According to her, Styles is one of the only boys she let into her special place (her pillow fort). According to him, Swift never opened her special place (her legs). So it was never going to work. ‘Harry… wishes he never ever dated her,’ says a source. ‘I mean, the fact she’s aiming a jab at him in the 22 video has got Harry wondering what’s coming next! He just doesn’t know what to expect.’ The source, who’s clearly never ever put a hit on anyone continues, ‘It wasn’t the most amicable of splits, but Harry said all along that he wanted to take things slow and easy with Taylor. There was certainly no commitment made, despite Taylor’s protestations, and the fact that they were so busy with their careers and lived in different countries meant that it could never have really got that serious. What for Harry was ‘a bit of fun’ at the time has slowly turned into a personal nightmare. But he won’t stoop to Taylor’s level, he’s just going to continue to be the more grown-up person and get on with his life. Perhaps something Taylor should consider too.’

It is almost as much fun to cover Taylor Swift’s love life as it is to cover Lindsay Lohan’s recidivism. Swift doesn’t seem to realise that it’s okay to just flirt, and you don’t have to date every guy you’re attracted to, and Lohan doesn’t seem to know that sober living would probably cut down on lawyers’ fees. Swift also doesn’t seem to realise that you cannot stalk your way into the heart of a guy who scares easily. In the case of Conor Kennedy, it was alleged that Swift purchased a home on the family compound even though she wasn’t really welcome. And in the case of Harry Styles, she’s flying to another continent and staying in a hotel near his home ostensibly to harass him into taking her back. But Swift says she’s not even that dedicated to stalking. The buck stops at intercontinental flights to achieve what heavy breathing down the phone cannot.

She says: ‘People say that I’m buying houses all the time that I’m not buying. It’s like… every time the press thinks I like a guy they say I am buying a house next to them.’ She continues: ‘I think in order to get to do what you love, which is this incredible positive thing, there are drawbacks. I had to stop reading any gossipy article written about me for the last two years because it would hurt my feelings that so much of it was not true. So what I had to kinda do was just realize that’s not me, that’s someone else, they’re writing about a character because none of those people know me. I think that’s the drawback, your privacy is completely gone, but I asked for it because I could be singing in a coffeehouse somewhere. But I asked to be at this level and there’s going to be a drawback to whatever path you take in life and I try to handle it as positively as I can.’

Yesterday, Taylor Swift seemed to concede that her serial monogamy had backfired and she needed some time alone. Except she’s been reading the Lance Armstrong Book of How To Be A Lying Liar because those were lies she told and she’s probably stalking Harry Styles right now. The One Direction singer is currently in London and Swift arrived in London earlier this week. A source claims she’s there for a confrontation after the couple split at New Year’s: ‘There’s talk of a meeting with Harry being on the cards. Harry has just got back from a small tour in Japan with the band and now has four days off. Out of all the hotels there are in London… Taylor has opted for one close to Harry’s house.’
