Beyonce Got Her Wish To Be Pregnant By 30

Beyonce celebrated her 30th birthday with a bump that wasn’t gas or a food baby. And the worst of the conspiracy theories seem to have died down as no one can hold their gas or poops this long (the MTV Video Music Awards were a week ago). Looking back at her recent interviews, Beyonce was at SMUG ALERT 1, speaking in thinly-veiled code about her pregnancy. She spoke to CNN at the end of June. She’s reportedly around four months pregnant. So, in all likelihood, she was pregnant when she said this, ‘I always said I’d have a baby at 30… But I also said I was going to retire at 30. So I don’t know. Who knows? I’m not retiring… I feel like 30 is the ideal age, because you’re mature enough to know who you are and have your boundaries and your standards and not be afraid or too polite, but young enough to be a young woman. I’m so looking forward to it.’ Asked whether she was holding poops/gas, she replied, ‘Only God knows.’ Which was a thinly-veiled yes. Well, I suppose that was the first pregnancy interview and CNN didn’t know it at the time. Well, it’s below as a reminder along with MTV VMA photos.

Beyonce Conspiracy Theories Out Of Control?

The Beyonce pregnancy reports have been getting out of hand today, especially since most bloggers like to see this stuff coming under ill-fitting sweaters and tight tees. Beyonce announced at the MTV Video Music Awards that she was pregnant. She announced it by rubbing her stomach twice, leaving the media bemused and blindsided enough to still require confirmation from her rep, who replied ‘I’m happy to say it’s true.’ Beyonce was on stage in New York 10 days ago with a dress that showed her stomach and it appeared to be flat. This has got some conspiracy theorists going nuts…. ‘HOW IS BABBY FORMED? NOT LIKE THAT, IT’S NOT!’ Well, Lainey Gossip says that Beyonce’s been double-stuffing her goodies into Spanx since forever (the revealing dress worn in New York would still have hidden Spanx). So she probably double-stuffed her baby thing too. Anyway, since there’s a baby in there who emerged from under restrictive underwear, Us Weekly has offered some more information. Us claims Beyonce is ‘close to three-months along.’ Sandra Rose and a few others are opining six. I dunno. Oh, Us has an explanation for the Lavin tent thing Beyonce wore; an odd-choice for a pregnancy announcement… ‘Beyonce… wasn’t going to announce it but she is so excited she couldn’t hold it in. Jay is ecstatic and over the moon. He really wanted this so badly. They barely told anyone… They kept it secret until they were sure and now she simply couldn’t wait to tell the world!’ 10 bump photos.

Here’s That Beyonce W Magazine Photo Shoot

A couple of weeks ago, we saw the three covers for Beyonce’s July W spread. Not much was known about her editorial at the time, and we only have scans now. But here’s the first look at an already-leaked editorial of someone who’s second-best at her own dance moves. What we get is one cover, above, and a continuation of the dominatrix/ army thing that she’s currently trying to make work. Pretending that she doesn’t grind into the camera, nor lap dance for fans during concerts, Beyonce’s still one of the classiest woman in the music industry right now. Mercifully, this leans on the right side of tasteful and reflects that.

Beyonce Talks Borrowed Billboard Performance

Beyonce has spoken about the Billboard performance that’s causing a mini-scandal. It has been pretty widely reported that Beyonce lifted most of her Billboard Music Awards 2011 performance of Run The World (Girls) from a year-old performance that has since gone viral online. I stayed away from those reports for the most part because, honestly, even serial-plagiarist Beyonce’s not dense enough to lift a performance this literally. Moreover, I found out the same time the performances were created by the same technical team. According to The Daily Mail, ‘the video for Beyonce’s Billboard act was created by Kenzo Digital while the overall production was staged by Tribe Inc.’ Speaking to AOL Music about the comparisons and allegations of theft from a 2010 performance by Italian singer Lorella Cuccarini, Beyonce explains, ‘My makeup artist showed me the performance of Lorella Cuccarini a year ago, and it inspired me so much… I then met with the talented people who worked on it. The technology and concept were so genius. Thank God for YouTube or I would have never been exposed to something so inspiring. I never worked so hard on anything in my life as that performance for the Billboard Awards.’ It’s also noted by Jezebel.com that most of Beyonce’s Run The World music video imagery probably was lifted.

Beyonce Performs New Song On Oprah’s Finale

Because the last performance involved her screaming this single at Mr Schue from Glee, Beyonce asked for a do-over of her Run The World (Girls) track. Beyonce performed her latest single during The Oprah Winfrey Show finale and the video can be found below. It involves an introduction with Beyonce wearing some tuxedo thing and handing out diplomas to her dancers; like a waiter who teaches classes at the learning annex right after work, handing out certificates printed on their home computer. Also below is a side-by-side of Beyone’s Billboard performance and a performance where the screen/ visual effects were created by the same guy (who, apparently, admitted his double-dipping on Twitter).

Beyonce Performs New Song At Billboard Awards

Beyonce used the Billboard Awards, during which a bunch of accolades were made-up in her honour, to scream her new single at Mr Schue from Glee (who, sadly, wasn’t wearing a vest). Below is video of Beyonce performing her song for which the music video was criticised for being over-done. I think the video is trying too hard, but I’d rather that than the Britney Spears method of sleepwalking through the entire process. Beyonce’s performance of Run The World (Girls) from the awards is below. Her costume is minimal and she kind of looks naked once you see it up close. She appears to be dancing to some of the vocals live. She starts off doing most of the dancing alone on a very impressive-looking screen of special effects (it reminds me of something Spears did during her televised Las Vegas tour a decade ago where she performed with a projection of herself). It ends with every backing-dancer who was available on the night dancing behind her and maniacally waving flags like they’re planning a coup.

Beyonce was honoured the same night with (Artist Of The) Millennium Award.
