Not everyone gets onto their knees in front of the casting couch so easily as Kristen Stewart who is, incidentally, giving a bad name to actresses who get their roles the OTHER old fashioned way. For example, Susan Sarandon spoke to Elle Magazine about the casting couch for the November 2012 issue and her experience was far less willing. Steering away from the words ‘rape’ or ‘sexual assault,’ Sarandon, now 66-years-old, recalls: ‘It was not successful… for either of us,’ she explained. ’I just went into a room, and a guy practically threw me on the desk. It was my early days in New York, and it was really disgusting. It wasn’t like I gave it a second though, it was so badly done.’
