Susan Boyle on The Early Show (famed online for “I Dreamed a Dream” rendition)
Susan Boyle, the viral Internet sensation famed for her roaring voice on Britain’s Got Talent, appeared on CBS’s The Early Show. Check out the video above.
Some people are a little late, joining Team Boyle, and were perhaps too distracted by her look and sassy demeanour to actually hear her tear-jerking rendition of ”I Dreamed a Dream” from the musical Les Miserables. Anyone who has watched the video of her performance will know that she is a true talent and no amount of spit-shine could mask that.
Seems that the little saucetress got her hair did for her American TV debut. Either that, or someone snuck up behind her and, knowing that they were doing her a favour, ran a comb through her hair. In any case, she is rockin’ in the way only a 47-year-old never been kissed, semi-batty, cat lady could.
YouTube marvel Susan Boyle, the Scottish singing sensation who last weekend stunned the judges of theBritain’s Got Talent TV show – including cynical Simon Cowell – has hit American shores.
Boyle, 47, said from her home in Blackburn, West Lothian, Scotland, that when she was younger people made fun of her. Now, the reaction is anything but that. “Everyone wishes me very well,” she says. As for the international reaction, especially online, Boyle modestly admitted, “It hasn’t maybe sunk in yet.”
On their Twitter sites, Ashton Kutcher posted a link to Boyle’s clip, along with the comment, “This just made my night.” Added his wife, Demi Moore, “You saw it made me teary!”
Susan Boyle’s YouTube clip has pulled over 13 million views as of today and you can watch the performance here too.

I said she was boring? Well she’s a sensation and she’s really good! I couldn’t not give her a lil recognition. I hope that she wins.
Yep, you called her boring
Never mind, a lot of people are only listening to the clip now
