I’d seen some annoying BS quotes in the papers recently about Bono and his inane opinions, and I was befuddled about why I was reading about him and not about someone more deep and meaningful like Parasite Hilton. Then, I remembered U2 have some shittocks tour to peddle and that is why their bespectacled leader is spouting haterade and useless quotes into the universe.
Bono, while on the UK’s BBC Radio One, made a jab at Coldplay’s lead singer Chris Martin. The U2 frontman said “I think he’s that good a melodist, but he’s a wanker… He’s obviously a completely dysfunctional character and a cretin.”
Realising that cussing out a band who are riding high in the charts is not the wisest idea PR-wise, the star backtracked and said he was “Sowwwy”. From the Daily Fail “I think they [Coldplay] are a great band and actually, it turns out he’s a great soul as well. Sorry about that. I was just joking entirely.”

Considering all that Bono’s done to provide medical attention and educate those at risk of AIDS in Africa, I will completely disregard this comment. He has done so much for humanity and I applaud him for his efforts.
what bono meant to say is:
“they stole our sound. they wish they were u2 so much they can taste it. in attempting to rip us off without anyone being able to prove it, they ripped off that poor joe satriani guy. who’s even heard of him? and they ripped him off! that said, we have a new album and it’s absolute rubbish. just trash. remember how you hated ‘pop?’ well, you’ll hate this one even more. and it’s coldplay’s fault because they stole our sound so we had to get a new sound. who names their kid apple anyway?”
this reminds me of that south park episode last year where they were making of bono and said he was nothing a but a giant #2 (poop)…lol
