Steven Tyler fell off a stage during a concert. The Aerosmith frontman was performing for a crowd at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in South Dakota, Thursday morning, when the accident happened.
The singer was dancing when he fell backward onto fans in the crowd. He was then taken backstage by security. This guy has been doing this long enough to take it like a pro and he laughed off the injury at first. It’s like when any old person fall down, go BOOM. Laugh first, check for broken hips later.
“He was good natured about it,” a source said. “He was in good spirits when he got in the helicopter. He was talking and joking with the physician. It was an unfortunate end to an extraordinary evening.” (via Huffington Post)
Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry later came out to tell the audience Tyler was being taken to the hospital and that the show would not go on, apologising and thanking everyone for their support.
Tyler is expected to recover from his head, neck and shoulder injuries.

glad to hear he’s ok. it would suck to lose one of the few folks left that still has naturla talent and isn’t manufacured in a studio
now, had this been his twin (mick jagger) he probably would shattered….lol
What a great point. A sad day if he’d been hurt worse or we’d lost another musician with actual talent.
He didn’t fall.
Jessica Simpson stumbled onto him in a drunken stupor and took him down with her.
Is Simpson behind all this… I KNEW it. *chuckles*
