Steve Phillips was fired from ESPN Sunday 25 Oct., over his sexual affair with Brooke Hundley.
The former ESPN baseball analyst was booted off the channel, over the sex scandal involving his 22-year-old mistress. This has got to come second only to having the affair outed by Hundley in the first place, a week ago. The scandal could have stayed under wraps if the immature plaything had not been spurned, and gone all Fatal Attraction on her mate.
This is what happens when you date people who still use MySpace, and not because they can’t be bothered to delete it. Phillips has dealt with being fired by taking his butt to rehab, where he is said to be addressing his personal issues.

first off that girl shows phillips didn’t know talent if his life depended on it, whether it be in baseball or in females. just look at the other woman who came out late last week, and of course the woman he sexually harassed (ie she stopped wanting to sleep with him) when he was ruining my beloved mets.
it’s sad he had to be fired for this, mostly because he should have been fired because he doesn’t know a damn thing about baseball and when he talks you simply have to turn the channel for fear of ruining the knowledge you do have. but, i s’pose i will take what i can get and be happy with it.
i will say he did the right thing by simply signing his house over to his wife in the aftermath; however that combined with his silly rehab stint is simply so he can say he’s a better person and hope to con one of the other sports networks into giving him work. unfortunately (for people who like their broadcasters to have knowledge rather than screen presence) he’s a fairly good looking guy and will get his second chance sometime around april.

He could have had an easier time with someone easier on the eye – seems some people need schooling on how to have a proper affair. Also, hang on – he makes you unlearn things about baseball. That BASTARD! Don’t worry about it, just unsubscribe from whatever channel gives him an over-paid second chance.

If you’re an old perv and need to cheat w/someone so young, do so w/someone who has, um, *professional* sensibilities. That or just go fundie mormon (or muslim) so you can have more than one around. Unless you love humiliation and misery, that is.
He has little-to-no sense… he totally should have cheated with *anyone* else.
