I am 24 years old and I remember listening to michael coming up and dacing to his songs. He was anwonderful person in my eyes. I never met michael , but I will never forget him. He can never be replaced. Love you michael R.I.P

Welcome to the site and thanks for the comment Shirley – The website did say fairly clearly that registration was only ever open to US residents. So the answer would be that if you are outside of the US you would not be eligable. Won’t stop people scalping tickets though.

It will be interesting to see just how many people who live outside the USA will actually receive tickets – I suspect we in the UK were paid lip service when we were told the offer was extended to us!

You are prophetic once again my friend. The second you were pressing submit, I was telling Twitter an update on that figure… “The Michael Jackson memorial registration site ‘received more than 500 million hits…in the first hour’ http://tinyurl.com/md67om”

The numbers are out of this world… but don’t really surprise me. Agreed, this way lots of people get to be part of a service as immense as the man himself.

You cannot have it both ways MM. They either charge or not. This is going to be smoething that millions would wish to attend. At least this way, less people spend money they don’t have on tickets. It’s better than charging them all $25. Also, hopefully this will be a less bias way to distribute tickets. I’d rather this that the scalper-happy first-come-first-served method.
