Husband of the late Brittany Murphy, Simon Monjack, complained that he was victimised by the media when his wife passed away December 20. The actress and her husband sure turned some heads in Hollywood. The stunner chose the long-haired British screenwriter over any number of Hollywood types. Monjack claims this is the very reason that he has been slammed in the media over the last week. He’s an easy target and he claims people think less of him, especially compared to Murphy’s famous ex-boyfriend Ashton Kutcher. He spoke to the Daily Mail in the UK, to try to clear his name, insisting that labels of conman and liar in the media are a fabrication. I gotta say, I feel sorry for the guy. Some in the media, and they know who they are, didn’t even give him a day off to gather his thoughts before they started slamming/ dissing him… sheesh.

I think Simon has a point about his treatment. I saw TMZ and others mocking him for being overweight etc. I think he’s not helping himself too, he should have shunned the media and left us sharks well alone.
