Shia LaBeouf Auditioned For Sex Movie By Sending Director Sex Tapes, Of Course

Shia LaBeouf is on a roll with his ‘Promotional Tour of WTF Did I Just Read?’ Thus far, we’ve learned that casting people require photos of your junk in order to cast body doubles, that ‘sex is different than love’ so it’s okay to have penetrative sex on camera when you’ve got a girlfriend waiting at home, and today we learn how he got the role in Lars von Trier’s The Nymphomaniac. According to LaBeouf, he landed his role by sending the director tapes (plural) of himself and girlfriend Karolyn Pho having sex. LaBeouf told Chelsea Handler: ‘I sent [von Trier] videotapes of me and my girlfriend having sex and that’s how I got the job.’ He continued: ‘I don’t know what [the movie] is gonna be until I get out there. I know he’s a very dangerous director, I know we’re trying to do something different. It’s not your typical film. It’s about what it’s about.’
