Selma Blair is reportedly pregnant. I can make this easier, rather than writing posts every second day of the week about someone getting knocked up, and clarify that ‘everyone with a womb is pregnant’. There. All done. I was ready to declare this the ‘month of the long term relationship break-up’. However, it’s pretty much still the season of ‘getting pregnant by that guy you met at Starbucks last Thursday’. Blair, 38, is expecting with her fashion designer boyfriend-of-one-year, Jason Bleick. Apparently her spokesperson confirmed the news to People, but their write up doesn’t contain the usual statement of ‘ZOMG, WE’RE SO EXCITED’; just a quote from some ‘friend’. It was first reported by Star magazine. However, it’s now being reported by Gossip Cop, Just Jared and others who claim to have their own sources/ confirmation. I’ll take this at face value, as others are reporting her pregnancy too. Blair was previously married to musician/ actor Ahmet Zappa from 2004 to 2006. She filed for divorce in 2006, citing ‘irreconcilable differences.’ This will be the first child for both.
