Scarlett Johansson, 22, has won over the cynical few who thought that she’d be woeful as the sultry Black Widow character in ‘Iron Man 2′.
The movie’s director Jon Favreau used his official Twitter to discuss how the actress really wowed the other cast and the crew (he previously used the account to share other teasers about the project).
“Scarlett’s first day on set in the Black Widow outfit,” Favreau wrote. “ You’ve never heard a crew get so quiet so fast.”
Johansson took on the role after Emily Blunt dropped out due to a scheduling conflict. Fans were up in arms at the casting change citing that Johansson did not physically resemble the character. But after a dye job on Johansson’s part, it looks like she’s ready to smoothly slip into character as a Russian spy. And if the Black Widow’s big screen costumes are anything like the illustrated version, the actress will be a vision in skin-tight black leather. (via Radar)
