Scarlett Johansson and Sean Penn are not dating. There was a rumour that Johansson and Penn were together. This seemed to be spun out of the two having a conversation at some party. Us Weekly followed-up with a reaching story claiming the 26-year-old and the 50-year-old were ‘hooking up’. So she could get her older man fill and he could stroke his ego, I guess. The reports made no sense, so I ignored them. ‘The duo began their fling in early January when she was staying at L.A.’s Chateau Marmont while filming We Bought a Zoo with Matt Damon,’ Us Weekly’s story began. ‘Their first hook-up was in Scarlett’s Bungalow,’ said their source. ‘Scarlett [quickly became] smitten with [Sean].’ Johannson’s people have dismissed the story. ‘Scarlett and Sean are not dating. They have been friends for years. Nothing more, nothing less,’ said her spokesperson. ‘They have been talking over the last few months regarding Haiti Relief and Scarlett’s upcoming trip to Haiti as Oxfam’s Global Ambassador.’
I really did not believe this story myself when I first saw it, but anything goes in Hollywood, so you never can tell if it’s true. It did seem pretty far-fetched though.
