I’m gleaning so from an interview with Scarlett Johansson where she pulls the ‘That question is too personal’ card and then lists the reasons she thinks her inner-crazy broke up her marriage to Ryan Reynolds. The 26-year-old divorcee gave an interview with German magazine GALA, opening up about a brief period of depression after her marriage failed. ‘[I was] quite depressed,’ the actress admitted. ‘After about a week or so I pulled myself together and started to go to the gym all the time.’ Asked what, specifically, was the catalyst for the split, she replied, ‘That question is too personal’… only to continue with a listicle-o-cray-cray that answered the previous question, ‘I will only tell you this: I can be overcritical; with myself and with other people. And I don’t compromise. [I can also] pass judgment on people quite quickly. If I don’t agree with someone or if I’m annoyed I will tell people to their face; no matter how hurtful that might be.
