Scarlett Johansson is set to make her Broadway debut, later this year, in A View from the Bridge.
The 24-year-old actress will drag her newly deflated chesticles onto the stage, in a move that many of her peers are making too. Sienna Miller, Jude Law, Hugh Jackman, Daniel Craig, and even Kim Cattrall are all on/ or headed to the stage at the moment. It’s the latest method they are all using to bamboozle people into thinking they have more talent than they do. Their belated right of passage onto the stage is like wearing a well-worn badge of honour. One that screams to the rest of the world that they’re a real actor type who has an emotional range, more than one facial expression, and can do accents and everything.
The star is headed for the stage, to perform in the play by American playwright Arthur Miller, beginning December 28. You have a 14-week window of opportunity to stare at Johansson in real life, in a way that probably won’t breach the restraining order.
