Halloween is approaching and so is the merciless onslought of tacky ‘scary’ movies… yay! [Website – Amy Grindhouse]
You know what… I am going to have to take the rather radical step, of calling BS on myself, on this one… I am totally guilty of buying into this mess. I went to the cinema with my cousin, this time last year to see ‘Saw IV’. We were as cowerdly as each other and were hiding under each other’s coats the whole time! FYI – ‘Saw IV’ is wicked awesome when watched entirely between your fingers!

Now, Halloween is just around the corner again. And, don’t you know it, here are some spoilers for the upcoming Saw movie!
The plot, according to the film’s Wiki page is as follows:
“Hoffman is seemingly the last person alive to carry on the Jigsaw legacy. But when his secret is threatened, Hoffman must go on the hunt to eliminate all loose ends.”

I stopped watching at 3. 3 was pretty good. I just don’t know if I can give the same dedication I did to Jason and Freddy. I still have not seen all the Hell Raiser movies and that one is about to be remade. It is one thing to do a trilogy but to keep the interest past that point you just have to get lucky and hope the rest of the world plays a long in what will inevitably nothing but a shell of the original characters and feeling of the first film.

I don’t blame you for losing the will to live after the third movie. It made a neat little trilogy and trust me, you missed nothing with the last installment!
Saw the trailer for the first time tonight on SNL… it gave me chills… perfect for Halloween coming up!
I am one of the die-hard SAW fans… to me, each one gets better and better… yeah, the first three were awesome… the 4th gave you more insight as to the hows and whys of Jigsaw and his legacy, yet kept up the suspense and thrill and at the end, left you yearning for a 5th… although, I think that they do them close enough to each other so that it keeps people’s interest… after 5 though, I’m not so sure that people will keep wanting to see them… it’s like the Rocky movies and such…
I can’t wait to see the 5th! I live in an isolated AK town, so it will be a bit before I see this, but oh, it will be so worth it.
p.s. I’m probably one of the few crazy women who loves these films and even though I don’t watch through my fingers, I still cringe and flinch at all the cool gory stuff!
my fav’ part in 4 was when the ice blocks come down and smash the guy’s head like a watermelon… ewww, but awesome!
