Ryan Jenkins Dead: Body Found In Canada

Ryan Jenkins dead body has been found after an apparent suicide, according to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. Jenkins dead body was found at the Thunderbird Motel in Hope, British Columbia (Canada). He is thought to have killed himself. This follows accusations and his later charging on August 20, 2009 with the death of 28-year-old model Jasmine Fiore. This is a tragic end to what was already a tragic story… this was never going to end well was it?

Jenkins, who passed away aged 32, was the prime suspect in the murder of his wife, Fiore. He had been on the run for the better part of a week, after traveling to his native Canada on foot. The gory things he stood accused of doing, but will now never formally stand trial for, include strangling Fiore in the L’Auberge Del Mar Hotel near San Diego Friday night (August 14, 2009); taking the body to another scene and mutilating her; then leaving her tossed out like trash in a dumpster behind an apartment building in Buena Park, California.

The pair met and wed after a two day romance in Las Vegas. The wedding took place at the Little White Wedding Chapel on March 18, 2009. According to TMZ, Jenkins dead body was identified by his fingerprints. He was discovered by motel staff. According to law enforcement sources, he was found hanging.

Royal Canadian Mounted Police Sgt. Duncan Pound: “At this present time the investigation into the circumstances of his death is continuing, but preliminary evidence suggests that he took his own life. Any further details will not be released at this time as this investigation remains in its infancy.” (via TMZ)

Two tragic and needless deaths end this tragic tale. So very sad.

Out of respect for the dead, I’ll reserve comment except to say that this WHOLE story is VERY sad and disheartening.

    1. I really had to hold back on the judgement writing this. He never got to stand trial or serve time. Technically he was only ever charged. I don’t think anyone other than his family will be sad. But, yes, it’s still a tragedy.

  2. I agree with you, I do not want to judge, but things did look bad for him. I however, being an old policeman, think he had something on conscience….. but then, no one is guilty until proven guilty….

    1. Hi Colin. Totally with you. We have to err on the side of caution as he never actually got a chance to stand trial. I don’t make a habit of speaking ill of the dead, so I tried to go easy on this one.

  3. Tech says:

It’s obvious the guilt got to him.

    1. Indeed, it would seem that way. Though now we can never be 100% sure.

  4. Rain says:

    The man was a coward.

    That’s my comment.

    1. Very restrained. Nice.
